The whole country is rejoicing after the Thai women's volleyball team brought happiness nationwide by defeating the Chinese women's national volleyball team 3-2 to win the 2026 Asian Volleyball Championship final and secure their first ticket to the 2028 Olympics.
/ Rasmee Kae Fahkuenlon has posted a message saying she will keep her promise, having declared previously that she would run 100 laps around Wat Phra Kaew if the Thai women's volleyball team won this competition and qualified for the 2028 Olympics.
“Promises must be kept. I will run 100 laps around Wat Phra Kaew. I’ve checked, and one lap equals 2 kilometers, so that means a total of 200 kilometers. I plan to split the running over about two months. I won’t be running in groups or organizing meet-ups. In the end, it’s definitely worth it—the run and the team qualifying for the Olympics.”
