“Hai Arpaporn” Clarifies Relationship with “Lawyer Arm”: Not Close Personally, Explains How They Met

The famous singer suddenly became the focus of attention. “Hai Arpaporn Nakhon Sawan.” After “Lawyer Arm” the lawyer on “Yat Chaisoro’s” side mentioned Hai Arpaporn’s name on the show “Hone Krasae,” claiming he had handled cases for her, which sparked public scrutiny and questions about cases linked to gambling websites.

Recently, Hai responded, saying she watched the show like everyone else but confirmed Lawyer Arm is not her personal lawyer. He only stepped in to help when gambling sites were impersonating her name.

“I watched for about 10 minutes, fell asleep after 5. I got home at 5 a.m. and slept at 6 a.m. I watched with everyone. Lawyer Arm’s name was mentioned alongside mine and several others. P'Noom Kanchai said you hired Lawyer Arm, but I told him no. I know Lawyer Arm because about 3–4 months ago, I went to cyber police because AI took around 50 clips of mine.

Within two months, they promoted a gambling website, claiming 'Play here, Hai plays and pays instantly within 5 seconds.' When I saw the turnover on that site—over 2 billion—I was furious. People called me, disappointed because they had been lured to play. I had brought them into the group, and their last 40,000 baht was gone with nothing left. I have always said I never invited anyone to gamble, I just play the lottery a lot. These scammers used AI to do this and many people believed it.

After that, I talked to Deputy Tam and filed a complaint. If I hadn’t, I would have been seen as an accomplice because it was so realistic—the voice, the image, the lip movements matched me exactly. I filed a complaint and met Lawyer Arm, who was in Deputy Tam’s group there.

He said he had handled many cases, so I gave him power of attorney to deal with this, including days when it was falsely reported that I died multiple times, with strokes or deaths, and links to gambling sites were shared. Two or three months later, those sites disappeared because I authorized Lawyer Arm to shut them down.”

Did you talk a lot with Lawyer Arm?

“Not really. We met that day and after my birthday he gave me a picture of the monk Luang Por Ngern. I asked how things were, and he said he was still working on the case.”

So when he got involved, the case calmed down?

“It did calm down, but I’m not that close to him. Normally, my company has its own lawyer. But since he was at the cyber police, I signed power of attorney for him to handle the scammers.”

Can Lawyer Arm be called your personal lawyer?

“No, because he works for many people. After he finished, I didn’t pay him anything because he volunteered.”

How do you feel about people saying after he helped you, there were reports he demanded money from gambling sites?

“I don’t know about that, but I don’t think he would. If the gambling sites paid, it might be damages for what they did. But those sites don’t pay—they’re terrible. People think he’s exploiting my name to profit from gambling sites, but I don’t think it’s just my name; I just happened to be involved.”

Do you trust Lawyer Arm?

“I don’t know. I’m not close to him. We only met and talked briefly, then after my birthday he gave me the picture. That was it.”

After watching the show “Hone Krasae,” what do you think of Lawyer Arm?

“I think he talks a lot. Maybe he wants to say something. He probably has a lot on his mind and has experienced a lot, so he wants to speak out when he has a chance.”

People say he’s a “lawyer seeking the spotlight.” How do you feel?

“Um…I don’t know. I won’t say anything. But for me, he really helped with the case and got results. I’m thankful because people who called to ask if I had died—those rumors decreased a lot. Before, I was reported dead three times a day until I had to post that I’m still alive.”

If Lawyer Arm uses your name as credit for handling cases, are you okay with that?

“I don’t think he would dare. I saw he got a lot of backlash. But now he’s stepped back, hasn’t he?”

He settled the case, but when he speaks, he claims he handled your case?

“He really did handle my case, so I’m okay with that. As for future help, it depends on the case.”
