Health nowadays is something we should never overlook or neglect. Recently, many entertainers have fallen ill and been admitted to hospitals. Most recently, a famous actor has been affected. “Uncle Rongk Jaturong” has just been discharged from the hospital after being diagnosed with inflammatory diverticulitis of the intestine.
Just recovered and left the hospital. Everyone is human and everyone faces illnesses. Like men with prostate issues—everyone has it to some degree, whether mild or severe. Women have uterine matters, almost all experience them at some point, often without symptoms. This condition affects both men and women. For me, it was diverticulitis of the colon. At first, I thought it was appendicitis, so I rushed to the hospital because I was walking bent over in pain. I was scared but went to a nearby hospital despite the risk, fearing the appendix might burst. Upon arrival, they took blood and urine tests.
The test results came back, but I was still bent over. After 2–3 hours, the doctor showed me the scan results. It was inflammatory diverticulitis of the colon. There are two conditions: urinary tract infection and diverticulitis. My appendix had been removed previously. The doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory medication. After two days in the hospital, I improved. It resembles appendicitis but is smaller. It occurs inside the intestine. The scan showed a bulge, but the appendix is a single structure where food can cause rupture. This condition’s cause is unknown; the doctor said it rarely ruptures but inflammation is common.
I thought it was appendicitis because my nephew had it and had surgery. His pain was on the right side, but mine was on the left and pressing there didn’t match appendicitis symptoms. The doctor confirmed my appendix had been removed, so it couldn’t be appendicitis. However, I posted online saying the doctor said the appendix could be removed immediately and explained my condition. People misunderstood and thought I had appendix surgery, but it wasn’t appendicitis. It’s called inflammatory diverticulitis. I strictly prohibited visitors because I needed to rest.
Many worried people called, including “Pee Mam” and “Pee Mod,” plus a few others. Pee Mod was scared, worrying if it was like “Pee Sunaree’s” case. I told them it was different. Her problem was constipation, but mine involved diverticulitis where I still had bowel movements.
