She has reportedly endured a difficult past and worked hard to pay off debts, and now enjoys a comfortable life as a southern Thai country singer. Jenny Ratchanok Suwanket , or Jenny Daimeudtasodchoen still faces requests to borrow money from both close acquaintances and strangers alike.
Recently, Jenny Daimeudtasodchoen posted a message showing someone asking to borrow money because they are burdened with hundreds of thousands of baht in debt, working only one job and unable to pay it off, feeling extremely exhausted and at a loss for solutions. She also shared some advice for those in debt as follows.
“Today, I want to share some small thoughts with people who have debt.
- Before taking on debt, you must consider where you will get the money to repay it. Don't just think about borrowing first and figuring out how to pay later, because that will cause you suffering and an unhappy life.
- If you are already in debt, and have made a mistake, what you should not do is borrow more, as that will increase your creditors and lead to more criticism and complaints. Instead, you must earn more money than before to reorganize your finances and allocate some funds to repay the debt.
- If you are a debtor, you must sell everything unnecessary to pay off your debt. Unnecessary things are those you can live without, because ultimately nothing is more important than your life and happiness. Sell those items and use the money to pay off or reduce your debt.
- You need to sleep less than usual, eat less than usual, buy less than usual, and work harder than before. Make every hour of the 24-hour day count to generate income. Don't waste even one hour because you have duties and debts to be responsible for. For example, if you used to sleep 10 hours a day, reduce it to 6 hours and use the extra 4 hours to earn additional income.
- Earning more income is certainly the hardest part, but you can start learning today. Whatever you begin to learn will become easier. For example, if you want to sell online to earn extra income but don’t know how, start by learning to use your mobile phone effectively.
- You don't need to create more debt and have multiple creditors. You must show full responsibility so that your current creditor sees or senses that you are committed to handling your debt.
- You have no right to live more luxuriously than your creditor because that will make the creditor uncomfortable and unwilling to sympathize if you fail to pay as agreed.
- Finally, if you have debt, you must manage your money properly. Don't live carelessly or without budgeting. Whether your income is small or large, you can manage it by thinking carefully about your expenses and income, and how much to allocate for debt repayment. If you start managing your money well, I believe your financial situation will gradually improve, and you will be happier too.”
