The incident where the audience seating area collapsed during the Asanee-Wasan concert has become widely discussed on social media. Asanee-Wasan Recently, singer and young artist Gun Napat Inthajauea opened up and expressed concern about this unexpected event, sharing his perspective as an artist. Gun Napat said that upon seeing the news on social media, he felt very shocked because if such an incident happened to him, he would be equally startled. He understands and sympathizes deeply with all parties involved, especially fans who had sincerely bought tickets to watch the concert but faced this unforeseen situation.
“As an artist, I want to send encouragement to everyone involved — including P'Pom, P'To, the stage crew, and all the fans. When I saw the footage of the moment officials announced that the sound system could no longer be used, yet P'Pom continued playing guitar and singing for the fans, I saw that as the best and most heartwarming way to handle the immediate problem. Because when an unexpected accident happens, everyone's safety must come first. I don’t want people to focus on blaming anyone, as it truly was an accident, and I believe all parties will find a good solution together.”
When asked about his own experience with unexpected incidents during concerts, Gun Napat shared that he once faced heavy rain during a show, but fans stayed without leaving. Though he worried about microphone issues or instrument problems, the fans’ spirit inspired him to perform fully. He also revealed that an artist’s key role on stage is to solve problems as they arise. He recalled once starting a song incorrectly during a concert with Note Udom, but he handled it by sincerely apologizing to the fans and asking to start over. Note Udom actually liked that take best, seeing it as a natural moment. Concluding with his view of working in entertainment, Gun Napat believes that when unexpected events occur, if everyone approaches the situation with understanding and focuses on solutions, everything will turn out well.
