After the actress Kwan Usamanee Waitayanon went to testify in the case where Mrs. Panida Sirayutthayothin the mother of the late actress Tangmo Nida also known as Tangmo Pattharathida Patcharawirapong filed a complaint against Kratik Ichsarinn Jutasuksawat Tangmo's former manager and close friend, accused of submitting or citing false evidence in the investigation file.
The evidence included photos related to the boat Tangmo boarded on the day of the incident, claimed to be a different boat; the photos in the case file showed the boat where Kwan Usamanee was sitting, not Tangmo's boat. Later, Helen Pavara a friend of Kratik, told Thairath Entertainment that Kratik did not submit the boat-related evidence in Tangmo's case; the police found it and one should ask the police where they got the evidence.
Most recently, Thairath Entertainment interviewed Puddle Yupadee a close friend of Tangmo, about this issue and her thoughts.
After Kwan came forward, how are things now?
"At first, I was shocked to hear that Kwan's name was in the case file because I didn't know the background. When I found out it was her photo used in the file, I realized it. Kwan had to express her intention that this is her photo and protect her rights, affirming herself."
"Is this key evidence? It could be important and might change things because everyone awaits the evidence to see which direction it goes. With Kwan stepping forward, it reinvigorates the case."
"I thank Kwan for her courage to speak out. I've always thanked everyone who helps move Tangmo's case toward justice."
Recently, Helen said on behalf of Kratik that the photos Kwan said she saw in the police file were never presented by Kratik. Where did they come from? But there is the matter of signatures?
"I have seen that too. Helen and I are close and talk, but not about the case because I don't want to interfere. Helen knows I don't want to ask too much."
"Regarding that photo, from what I've learned from the file, there really is a signature. So we don’t know where the photo came from. Whoever signed it must take responsibility for that photo. That's how it feels."
So does that mean Kratik might have to give testimony again?
"I don't know, but they say the signature is real because they have signed evidence, which is why it was spoken about."
They say around Tangmo's birthday, something always happens every year?
"That's true. Every year, September 13 is Tangmo's birthday. Normally, our team — myself, Hippo, Mo Amina, and friends in the group — we hold merit-making ceremonies. Every month on the 24th, the anniversary of her passing, I post tributes or visit church."
"For her birthday merit-making, it's bigger. We intentionally buy things for the church. Recently, Mo Amina helped build a church roof to protect from rain. We've been doing this for four years since we started speaking about Tangmo."
"Some might think at first we spoke strongly and wondered if we spoke too much. So we tried to tone it down, not speak, but then people criticized us for not doing anything for her."
"In truth, we've done everything from boat rides to making models. Tanakrit, Ning Panita, Mo, Hippo helped a lot. We just didn't post publicly because we worked quietly. We submitted the case files, but they were rejected. We thought we did our best but maybe lacked enough power."
"Don’t be discouraged. Now we're being interviewed, people see it, and those who haven't will see that we're still working."
"Yes, we are working. I've always thanked everyone involved. Some say those who come out seek attention, but if it's attention that helps resolve the case, that's good. I want everyone to help."
"No matter if it takes 4, 5, 6, 7, or 10 years, Tangmo must receive justice. Recently, I was very close to Tangmo — we slept and ate together. She suffered from depression and isolated herself, so we encouraged her to come out and change."
"She often asked, ‘Can I still be a leading actress?’ I told her yes, she still is one in this era, despite new waves. She cared about her image as a star. After her death, people still remember Tangmo as a leading actress, and everyone still loves her."
"I once heard that people only realize the value of someone after they die. This is heartbreaking as it involves our friend. When she was alive, it was barely seen. Now it's true."
"So I want everyone to love and follow Tangmo's good works. I always told her she was like a cat with nine lives. She truly was — surviving car crashes, breakups, suicide attempts, depression, criticism, and altered appearance but still bouncing back. I told her she would come back for sure, that she need not fear, and she could still be a leading actress."
Even after four years of the case, what message do you have for Tangmo and her fans about her still being a leading actress?
"Yes, Tangmo can still be a leading actress. I thank all her fans and everyone following her story. Please support the team involved in clarifying and bringing true justice to the case. We appreciate all your support."
Have you ever been threatened in the past four years?
"Regarding threats, I don't know if they were phone threats or what kind. Early on, I don't recall if I spoke publicly. I was never threatened directly but was told by someone, ‘Don't talk too much, don’t let me say more.’ Not violent threats, just warnings to keep quiet if unaware."
"But I said we speak as close friends protecting each other in Tangmo's final days. We defended her, not accusing anyone of murder or pushing her off the boat. I never believed Tangmo would urinate at the back of the boat because as a leading actress, she cared deeply about her image. It was impossible."

"Yes, I'd like to thank everyone, including the team, Professor Panthep, Doctor Thawatchai, those protecting Kwan, and everyone involved. We truly appreciate all the support."
