Bum Panadda Concerned for Khwan Usamanee, Witness in Tangmo Case Suggests Num Kanchai and Gun Jomphol Resolve Their Dispute

Attending the Praew Awards 2026 announcement, I met top actors, hosts, and beauty queens. Bum Panadda Wongpudi. So I asked about the issue of Khwan Usamanee Waitayanon. becoming a witness in the case of Tangmo Nida. or Tangmo Pattharida Patcharaveerapong. how she feels as a reporter, including the heated drama between Num Kanchai Kamnerdploy. and Gun Jomphol. As someone who knows both,

asked about the Tangmo Nida case, now that Khwan Usamanee is a witness?

“To be honest, as a reporter covering this for four years, we were surprised to see new evidence or developments, especially since we thought all the media had interviewed extensively, repeating the story many times, until suddenly Khwan Usamanee appeared. That shocked us. But we just feel that what's true or not, we don't know. So many things can happen in Thailand. As media, we must continue reporting what happens, but any speculation should be based on real evidence. I want the truth to be clear. That's all I want after reporting for so many years.”

Are you worried?

“Yes, I'm worried. Khwan Usamanee is honest, straightforward, and a sweet person. We were surprised that suddenly she became involved in this case. Honestly, I'm concerned about her safety. If she feels unsafe at home, she can come to my place.”

Khwan posted asking the public to help protect her?

“Yes, she wants some protection because of her concerns.”

Some say even celebrities need public protection?

“We don't know what might happen. That's why I told Khwan, if anything happens, come to my house. My home is definitely safe. I'm ready to help and protect her. I do this for all cases, especially for young people in showbiz. We take care of each other. Journalists too—we say, if anything happens, come to my place.”

What do you think the case's direction will be?

“I really don't know. It's very hard to predict because even Tangmo's mother hasn't found 100% truth yet. We'll wait for the conclusion. From the media's perspective, we will report as thoroughly as possible.”

What about the issue between Num Kanchai and Gun Jomphol?

“Let's put it this way: no one knows the whole truth. Everyone who speaks only shares parts of the story. And when discussions go through many media channels, misunderstandings can arise. As someone working in this field, I think it's better to focus on working for the public because the public's feelings may be shaken, unsure what's true, what's anger, or what’s conflict. If they can reconcile, they should. We're all adults and know each other well. The circle is small; they'll meet again. I prefer to encourage all parties. I don't dare say more since I wasn't directly involved.”

Were you shocked when you saw it?

“Oh, from a social media viewer's perspective, it's entertaining. But from a professional viewpoint, it can be seen in many ways. We must check facts to see what's true. Instead of fighting, it's better to clear things up and decide how to work together going forward. If it can be resolved, great. If not, step back and focus on your own work. Right now, the fighting is entertaining for readers, but those involved are not happy.”

Who are you closer with?

“If you ask who I'm closer to, it's Num Kanchai because we've worked together a long time in media and know each other well. With Gun Jomphol, we share the same area but tend to work separately. When we meet, we greet and joke, no problems. Panadda usually supports by working in the kitchen, helping everyone, especially during flood relief, then joining rehabilitation efforts as a 'housekeeper.' So I don't have conflicts with anyone; otherwise, I wouldn't provide food (laughs).”

Regarding drama in foundations, do you think this field must be transparent?

“Should it be transparent? Yes, because secrets don't last forever. Whatever someone does will eventually be revealed. But I want to encourage everyone doing good. I say this because I’m involved and see many who may not be in the spotlight but sincerely do good work. I support all who do good deeds.”
