Famous comedian Bell Englap has come forward to update on the progress of his wedding preparations. Bell Englap. From the Likay troupe Sorram Nam Phet, preparations are now 80 percent complete. He revealed a promise to his wife that actions speak louder than words. The wedding will be held in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province on 27 September.
Talking about his intention to decide on this wedding, he said, "It's every woman’s dream to get married. I was married before, but it was just a wrist-tying ceremony. Honestly, at that time we were short on money. Now, while we’re not wealthy, I can make a living and have some savings. I want to fulfill my wife’s dream, which we have talked about for a long time but never had the chance to do."
He confirmed regarding previous news, "It was a mistake, and I want to apologize. This wedding is for my wife. It’s not about making amends; we've been discussing it for a long time. Seeing others getting married, we gathered that my wife truly wants this too. We’re just waiting for the right time."
"For me, words alone aren't enough. Even if I say something, if the other person doesn’t believe because of past wounds, it’s fear. So I choose to show through actions instead. Actions are most important, and this won’t happen again. However, regarding past wounds, there might still be some lingering feelings or slight triggers, but we’re healing together."
"I’m a new Bell now. I used to never wake up early because my body couldn’t take it, but now it’s fine. Today, I even took my child myself. I offered to do so when I had time before work. If the gig isn’t far, I also take them out to eat. I spend much more time with my family now. This is moving forward fully for my child and wife. I loved them before, but I wasn’t sure if I was possessed by a 'ghost father.' Now, that ghost is gone."
"Wedding preparations are 80 percent done. The remaining 20 percent will proceed after returning from abroad. The only issue now is sending invitations to guests and elders. Saturday and Sunday are the best times for this. Honestly, we have worked hard so far. This event is not trivial. We want to give it the proper time and effort."
Asked how he envisions himself as a groom, he said frankly, "I have no idea what it will look like. At that moment, I’m focusing on the event. I want it to be perfect and to impress my wife the most. Personally, I’ll be my usual self, Bell, but we’ll make sure the ceremony has some standards. It will be on 27 September in Ayutthaya."
