A heated drama erupted on social media when a former employee of the famous couple Tu Piyawadee Maleenont and Mavin Taweepol posted a clip reviewing life after quitting work, including sharp remarks that escalated the issue into a conflict between the former bosses and the ex-employee.
This former employee had worked with Tu and Mavin's team for more than 6-7 years, starting without experience while still a student. They were given opportunities, gradually taught and learned together, and allowed time off to take exams and complete their thesis. Even when they resigned, there was a warm farewell with offers of help if needed.
However, the former employee later posted an interview clip filmed in a car on TikTok titled “Quitting work = relief (relief from work and money),” where they said the job left no time to care for family, caused mental strain requiring healing, among other complaints.
Tu Piyawadee then posted a screenshot of her comment on this TikTok user’s video, captioning it “There’s no such thing as parting on good terms. I wish I could share and feel relieved too ☺️ #tiktokentertainment #entertainmenttiktok” and adding the song “Jai Hai Pai” (Heart Given Away).
In her comment to the former employee, Tu said, “At first, I wasn’t relieved because I worried about how you all would be after leaving. I told you to ask if you needed help, thinking we parted on good terms. But after seeing this clip, I’m relieved too because I feel there’s nothing more to worry about. Anyone curious about the work issues mentioned can send questions for Vadee Oppa to answer in a clip. #HeartUnderstandsHeart It’s hard to accept this behavior.”
When the former employee commented “Ep.2,” Tu replied, “Are you ready to do episode 2 with me? Let’s talk it through clearly point by point. I’ll share my side.”
After Tu Piyawadee’s post, many fans came forward to support Tu and Mavin, while the former employee has set their TikTok account to private.
