Poo Mantana Insists Kanchai and Lawyer Toi Requested Case Mediation Themselves, Shares Feelings After Facing Kanchai in Court

After Poo Mantana Himathongkham as well as Madam 3P and Lawyer Mana Wandee gave interviews to the media regarding their victory in the case where Lawyer Kaew Dr. Monchai Jongkairattanakul, the plaintiff, sued Poo for defamation by advertising, case number Or.461x/2025, demanding 500,000 baht in civil damages. The Minburi Criminal Court, as the court of first instance, ordered dismissal.

Later, reporters asked about the issue that Nam Kanchai Kamnerdploy did not withdraw the lawsuit, and Poo posted that on 17-18 September she wants to stick to her words, not waver or retract. What message does she want to convey? Poo said she wants the court to judge, seeking truth and justice. Generally speaking, it’s not about being sued by many and then trying to withdraw when the case isn’t going well. That means we haven't proven whether we are right or wrong. She wants the court to rule because she has suffered for three years due to many actions against her, endured great distress, and the family was neglected while constantly attending court. She wants justice restored and affirmed she did not refer to or challenge anyone specifically.

Then she spoke about the other side requesting mediation for Poo to plead guilty and receive a suspended prison sentence, which Poo disagreed with, telling the court that the defense witnesses had not yet been examined, so why suddenly? Lawyer Toi (Pornsak Vipasaparnon) and Nam wanted Poo to admit wrongdoing and receive a suspended prison sentence, which the court agreed with. The court said if Nam and Toi want the court to mediate, all cases against Poo must be withdrawn. But Toi gave a different statement to the media, claiming Poo begged him to mediate. In fact, Nam and Toi were the ones who requested mediation.

Meanwhile, Madam 3P spoke about the case of Luk Mee Rasamee that the latest case at Nonthaburi Provincial Court, the court said the plaintiff will withdraw the lawsuit but demands 100,000 baht to settle and withdraw. We responded that if they want to withdraw, just withdraw without demanding money since it’s not yet proven who is right or wrong. Luk Mee’s case is scheduled for judgment on 16 November.

When asked about meeting Nam Kanchai in court for the first time on 17 September, Poo said she felt indifferent, seeing him as insubstantial as air. Madam 3P said she hopes the hearing is soon as she has prepared the complaint and cross-examination thoroughly.

Asked if she was afraid, Poo replied that Nam spoke on his show about Poo’s case and personal matters, which is inappropriate. What he said about suing Channel 3 was excessive. Many have sued her like this; she wonders if there is any sense of manliness at all.

Madam 3P said not to say that as he has the right to sue. Poo currently thinks this way because she has never talked directly with Nam; there is always a middleman. They must speak for themselves. Poo interjected that if he wants to talk to her, he must remove Lawyer Toi from the case first. Madam 3P said not to say that because he is the lawyer and can’t be removed that way. She added it’s okay, just wait for the day, and they will stay calm.

When asked if Nam wants mediation, must he change lawyers? Poo said yes, if he wants to talk to her, Toi must be removed as his lawyer first. She is unsure whether Toi is favoring Nam. Toi and his wife insulted Poo first and then sued her. On that day, she supported Han Himathongkham, her husband, going up, but the other side imitated.

Madam 3P quickly interrupted, saying he cannot be removed and that this is off-topic. She said let’s wait to meet Nam, hoping the results on 17-18 September will be good. She will be the middleperson to speak with Nam, who is kind-hearted and will likely not argue, only laugh. She believes it can be managed.
