After police detained Venerable Wachirayan W. or Luang Pho Atichot Dhammavaro, aged 66, holding the ecclesiastical rank of ordinary royal monk and currently the abbot of Wat Phutthaisawan, a royal monastery in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, on charges of "being an official embezzling property, misconduct or neglect of duty, state official misconduct, conspiracy to launder money and money laundering."
Police reviewed CCTV footage inside the temple's monk quarters, capturing the abbot openly flirting with a close female devotee and engaging in explicit sexual acts. It was also found that the abbot embezzled over 92 million baht of temple funds, giving it to the close devotee and laundering the money.
Recently, actor Tac Paranuy Rojanawutitham posted an image from the "Anuwat Jad Hai" page, showing CCTV footage inside the temple quarters of the abbot openly engaged in sexual acts with the female devotee. He wrote, "Wow, Anuwat Jad Hai, are they really serving sweets in the temple? I once made merit at this temple. Yoodya knows. 來 Nothing is more intense than this... Yoodya kids know."
He further commented, including remarks such as "The close lady, hush 狼 can you say more?", "Above luck, there is 'above'...", "Yoodya kids reporting in," "Getting fired up," and "Doing difficult moves," amidst a flood of comments from netizens expressing their views.
