In a recent drama, an influencer posted a content clip talking with Krit Sripoomset asking how many likes the clip needed to get free gelato for one month, to which Krit said it must reach 1 million likes. Netizens actually achieved this 1 million likes.
However, when informed, Krit responded that no one really gives such offers, saying that giving free gelato like that would cause losses and low profits, suggesting to delete the clip and that just a couple of free cups would suffice, sparking heavy criticism.
Recently, Krit posted a screenshot of a LINE chat with his close friend, the famous host Moddam Kachapa Tanjaroen, who said to let the influencer have the free gelato, saying “Just let them eat it for free, you crazy,” but Krit insisted on refusing and sent a tongue-out sticker, to which Moddam replied “So mean.”
Krit captioned, “You’re pressuring me too, making me give in. Everyone @moddamkachapa, what’s going on? I’m getting DM messages all day and night pressuring me to agree. Why should I follow what society tells me? These drama feed extortionists can’t affect me, my mind is strong.”
He then posted Moddam’s message: “Just give it to them, why are you stingy?” Krit replied, “I’m not stingy. I already give media freebies way more than this. Those social media people keep pressuring me with messages all day and night to agree. I feel like Thai society is messed up. Why must we follow social media pressure? The more they pressure, the more I refuse.”
He captioned, “It’s not over yet, Moddam… I won’t give it. I’m not stingy. Are you on the side of those feed extortionists @moddamkachapa?” Moddam immediately commented briefly, “You crazy.”
Meanwhile, netizens commented things like: If you didn’t promise, no one would mind; You promised him yourself; It’s confusing; The cost is already high, so giving free is hard...; Link crashed lol; I’m embarrassed, you promised after all; What kind of logic is this? You approached him yourself, demanded terms for freebies, imagine if 100 or 1000 people did this, would you give to all, etc.
