Krit Sripoomseth Fires Back Sharply Over Free Gelato Drama, Says Moddam Has Changed a Lot, Slams Social Media Trolls

The issue escalated into a major controversy after an influencer posted a video content discussing with Krit Sripoomseth. They asked how many likes the clip needed for him to give away free gelato for one month. Krit replied it must reach one million likes. The clip did reach one million likes, but when told, Krit responded that no one really gives that away; doing so would cause losses and minimal profit. He suggested deleting the clip and said giving away two or three cups was enough, which sparked heavy public criticism.

Meanwhile, close friend and outspoken host Moddam Kachapa Tancharoen sent a message to Krit telling him to just give it free, questioning why he was being stingy. However, Krit insisted he was not stingy and refused, questioning why he should follow social media pressure. The more pressure, the less he would give. Krit also accused Moddam of siding with social media trolls, sharing screenshots of their chat on Instagram. Moddam commented “Crazy” amid a flood of netizen comments.

Recently, Krit posted an image with the text "Listen clearly: 'No.'" He also wrote a lengthy message addressing the issue and firing back at netizens sharply, mentioning that Moddam had changed a lot. He explained, "This started when an influencer came to make content (I didn't hire them), which happens every day as normal. The influencer said they would interview me, but I didn’t know the questions. When the interview began, they immediately asked,

‘Krit, how many likes does this clip need to get for me to eat gelato free for one month?’ I quickly replied without thinking, ‘At least one million likes.’ Within just one day, it hit one million likes. I saw thousands of comments saying it’s reached the goal and I must let them eat. People started swarming me with harsh words typical of social media trolls.

Personally, I keep my word. I have given free gelato to influencers before; it’s not unusual. But the problem is why should I do what society demands? I have my own thoughts and decisions. I don’t like being forced.

2.冷 To those social media trolls who stir up drama—these people often lack clear life goals, don’t work, and enjoy gossiping and insulting others for fun. You can’t do anything to me; I have a strong mind.

3.冷 To business owners who criticize me and jump on this bandwagon: When the free gelato issue blew up, some food sellers made clips accusing me of breaking promises and said anyone who knows that influencer should contact them for free gelato, painting me as the villain. Don’t worry, those influencers are the real generous heroes stepping in (doing things like this is pathetic).

If your product will sell well, don’t interfere or latch onto nonsense like this. What you should do is improve your product’s taste to beat competitors. Don’t waste money on influencers if your product is good—they’ll contact you themselves. I’m being sincere (don’t bother me again; we don’t know each other and, importantly, I never interfered with you).

4.冷 To Moddam: I’ve been gone for 5 years, and you’ve changed a lot—are you aware? You weren’t like this before. Have you really surrendered to those social media trolls bullying you? Have you forgotten how great we were when doing "The Show"? We always fought back against bullies, but now your fighting spirit is gone. Don’t be afraid—I’m back, and I’ll bring back the queenly spirit in you.
