“Add Carabao” leads the team supporting the creation of the GUITARKING sculpture to honor “Lam Morrison” Famous music veterans delivered a powerful, passionate rock performance at the CONCERT FOR GUITARKING LAM MORRISON 2026 held at German Tawandang, Ramindra, on the evening of 16 September.
This major project of the year saw rock musicians unite spontaneously, creating a phenomenon by gathering top national rock artists to deliver live performances filled with love and faith for the legendary rock master “Lam Morrison,” known as the Guitar King of Thailand, now aged 82. Leading the lineup were Olar Promjai, Add Carabao, Pong Hin Lek Fai, and Sek Loso, alongside veteran rock artists such as Kitti Guitar Gun, Ch. On Na Bangchang, Tao Sweat Rock, Robert Brand, Ekman Photiponthong, Paeng VIP, Moo Kaleidoscope, Professor Praj OVD, and others. Lam Morrison’s personal manager, Nok-Buriphan Chaiphum, and his beloved daughter Nat-Natcha Nualjam closely cared for the event with deep appreciation.
The rock intensity was elevated by 80s-90s artists including Poo Back Head, Audi, Duo May, Tik Shiro, Vespa Star, Vid Hyper, Pramot Wilepana, Bob Lava from Jonathan Band, Morrison Band Pattaya, and Gen Z rock artist PETCH PettyRock (Wimolwan Saisathit), an internationally acclaimed guitarist who hosted the show and auction segments with co-hosts Bee Switch, Jim Chuan Chuen, and Nok Buriphan.
As the night grew lively, the highlight featured the headliner “Add Carabao” debuting the new song “Nene Nai Naem Mak,” written to encourage the rock metal icon “Nene Royal,” a young guitar genius who has brought global attention to rock music. The auction of limited edition OLD SCHOOL FOR NENE shirts fetched prices as high as 140,000 baht each. Additionally, Madame Linjong Opakul, Add’s beloved partner, joined on stage to contribute another 100,000 baht, raising the shirt’s value to 240,000 baht each.
Generosity continued as Saithan Sathienthamma, CEO of German Beer Brewery, donated proceeds from ticket sales and added a round figure of 1 million baht. On this occasion, Nok Buriphan, Lam Morrison’s personal manager and a sound engineer respected by fellow artists, unanimously decided to present Lam Morrison’s favorite guitar signed by him to CEO Saithan as a token of gratitude.
It was an evening that extended love and happiness to the legendary rock master Lam Morrison, his rock family, and fans through this grand project of the year. One of the main organizers, Add Carabao, said, “Brother Lam Morrison is a teacher and an inspiring role model for guitarists and musicians of later generations. This concert was initiated by a group of musician friends who wanted to send encouragement and raise funds without any deductions to support his medical treatment and health care. A key highlight is the plan to build a memorial statue of ‘Lam Morrison’ on Walking Street in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, to record the history of this legendary guitarist who brought fame to Thailand. Building the statue while the artist is still alive is the highest honor, giving him the chance to appreciate the love and value of his work. The event also featured another project where senior artists show support for young Nene Royal with the song ‘Nene Nai Naem Mak’ and two versions of its music video.”
Nat Natcha, Lam’s daughter, tearfully expressed her feelings: “I feel deeply touched and would like to thank all the artists on behalf of my father. We felt the love, kindness, and warmth as if we were one family united to support my father this time. Thank you.” Lam Morrison himself shared his heartfelt gratitude for seeing friends and colleagues in the music industry gather with sincerity, saying thank you to everyone, “Love you all,” while making the Sign of the Horns hand gesture.
