After Taew Natapohn went to perform a ritual dance and pay respects to the Grandfather and Grandmother Naga spirits at Kham Chanod, she looked stunning and graceful, flawless in every way. Taew told Thairath Entertainment that she had been planning the date for some time, and when the auspicious time fell perfectly on that day, she went to dance with great intention, carefully selecting her costume until the result was as beautiful as seen.
Additionally, Taew addressed rumors that on the day of the ritual dance, she was seen talking to a snake. She clarified firmly that she did not talk to it, only stood watching the snake.
What was the reason behind going to perform the ritual dance?
"It was a ritual dance before the gala event for Garuda-Nakee. Actually, I had been looking for a good day for some time, and the auspicious time matched perfectly that day, so I went."
It looked very mystical. Why specifically at the Nakee moment?
"Actually, looking back, it’s been 10 years. The last time was 2016, and now it’s 2026—exactly the 10th anniversary. I was very focused, and the costume designer also put in a lot of effort because everything was made new."
There was a shot where people said Taew was talking to a snake. What was that about?
"That was because I was called over there because they said there was a snake in the pond. I just went to stand and watch because it seemed like a phenomenon. Maybe it still happens, but it hasn’t been long since the snake appeared in the pond. There was no communication; I just stood watching to see how the snake would come up."
But many people think it was like the snake was preparing to welcome the Naga goddess?
"I’m happy that people still remember. I’m surprised that Gen Z and younger generations still know. So it’s good because this time there’s a new Garuda-Nakee movie coming out. Anyone who missed the first Nakee can watch this one, or even those who never saw it before can enjoy it."
What did you wish for during the ritual dance?
"I wished for health, career success, and for the movie to do well. The Naga goddess is back."
