It became a viral sensation online once again when Nene Royal or Praew Rattikan Amlai a 16-year-old female youth artist from Phuket, Thailand, performed in the finals of "America’s Got Talent" on NBC in the United States, choosing the song "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes, showcasing full skills in both singing and guitar playing.
After completing her performance and receiving appreciative comments from the judges, the male host Terry Crews asked Nene after the show, “Nene, when you were 7 years old, you picked up that guitar and decided you would be a rock star. Do you feel like your dream is coming true now?”
To which Nene Royal replied, “Yes, absolutely! My dream has come true because I... I was very young when I first held a guitar, and I always thought to myself... I really want to be a rock star! And I’m so happy to be here on the AGT stage in the finals, and my dream is coming true! So please vote for me, everyone! I am a rock star!”
Then Terry Crews wished Nene, “Good luck tonight, Nene!” amid roaring cheers from the hall filled with fans fully supporting Nene.
