Recently, Nene Royal posted on her page Nene Royal about the origin of the outfit worn in the finals, which came from her mother’s imagination, who wanted to see Nene transform into a look that is confident, elegant, and full of clear rock energy.

The mood and tone of this outfit started from “my mother’s imagination,” who wanted to see Nene change into a look that is strong, confident, elegant, and full of rock power. From this feeling and idea passed down by my mother, it was handed to P’Ice to develop and design a concept image to clearly show the outfit’s direction.
It was then passed to “P’Mor Ying” to translate that imagination into a real outfit. The dress is in red tones with a fitted high neckline, reinforced shoulder structure for strength and prominence, intensified by a leather belt, metal studs, and chain details. Draping at the waist and a front slit allow every movement on stage to look elegant yet retain strength and power.
A key element of this outfit is the use of “Thai fabric” as part of the design. Ban Khrua handwoven silk with a plain gold-threaded pattern, from the Ban Khrua community—a Muslim Cham community along Khlong Saen Saep in the heart of Bangkok—was reinterpreted in a contemporary style blending Thai identity with rock fashion on stage. This ensures the outfit is not only beautiful but carries “identity, story, and meaning” in every element.
