Recently, heavy rains have many people worried about a major flood. Additionally, a popular page has issued warnings about the impact of heavy rain and widespread flooding in several areas between 24–27 September. Nat Jutharat also known as Nat, Chok's Wife, the parade truck singer, shared that post and commented, “Okay, I believe you.”
Then Nat posted, “I'm not overreacting but tomorrow I'm going back to Thailand. All motorcycles will be loaded onto slide trucks, and seven cars will be moved to Korat as a precaution because I’m afraid it might be too late otherwise. Even if I have to pay high taxes, don’t expect the government to help, because if anything happens, no one will help me for sure except myself.”
Many followers commented extensively, with many agreeing with Nat’s message because they had experienced similar problems before, such as: “Last year in Hat Yai, they gave the same warning. Some people laughed and said it was nonsense and wouldn’t be a severe flood. But six days later, the whole city was flooded for nearly a week. Nat, good job being careful and moving your stuff in time — better than suffering damage later. #FromSomeoneWhoExperiencedHatYaiFlood,” “The water is definitely coming. Khao Yai is about to overflow. Bangkok probably won’t survive. Better to prepare,” “Khao Yai and Wang Nam Khiao are already flooded, ma’am,” “You can’t trust anyone saying it won’t flood; it always floods past the rooftops,” “Better safe than sorry. If it doesn’t happen, we just bring everything back, but if it does, we survive,” “Good move, not overreacting but preparing first. No one can help us but ourselves,” and so on.
Nat also added, “Last time the government announced everything was under control in both the north and south, but I saw water reaching rooftops. This time they tell people not to panic, saying the rain isn’t constant. Besides moving the vehicles, I think we should stockpile food now.”
