After Dr. Rit Ruangrit Siriphanich or Rit The Star the former famous singer who has now become a doctor running a beauty clinic, decided to undergo major cosmetic surgery including under-eye bag removal, eye surgery, and thread lifts from his face down to his neck. He explained that since he was already under general anesthesia, he chose to have multiple procedures done at once. After the surgery, Dr. Rit shared fresh photos of his face while still in the recovery phase for his fans to see.
However, many netizens harshly commented because his face was still swollen and bruised as is normal after surgery. Numerous comments criticized various aspects of his appearance, such as “Want to comment but better not,” “Looks like the Finnish village headman,” “What a pity, he was better-looking before,” “He was cute before, such a shame,” “Looks like a traditional Thai theater actor, better before,” “So funny,” “I think the old look was better,” and so on.
Recently, Dr. Rit responded by posting a clear video showing his face no longer swollen and settling, along with a clip addressing those mocking him, saying
“Not all Thai people understand the meaning of swelling. They expect the face to look perfect immediately after surgery. We cut under the eyes and move fat from beneath the eye sockets to the front cheeks. Do they expect the skin not to bruise at all? I’m very confused about Thailand. Right after surgery, people want to look good immediately—no swelling, no recovery time.
The photos I posted were right after surgery, and everyone who passed by said my face looked younger and better. Do they expect perfect results one hour after surgery, with no swelling at all? I didn’t do a new face; I only fixed the under-eye bags.”
