The special show created a huge buzz. Nene Royal or Praew Rattikan Amloy, the 16-year-old rock star from Phuket and the world-renowned American rock band Linkin Park performed together on "America’s Got Talent" aired on NBC in the United States.
Meanwhile, Narong Amloy, Nene’s father, went live to chat with fans after the show. At one point, he shared behind-the-scenes details about Nene’s rehearsal with Linkin Park, saying, "When they arrived, the crew took them to the rehearsal room. Their rehearsal process was quite normal, similar to ours. But they didn’t rehearse much. For Praew, they rehearsed only once, about three minutes. Afterward, during the chorus, Praew made a small mistake—mixing up the low and high notes just slightly."
He meant they suggested a slightly lower pitch. Praew tried following their advice once. "Yes, sure, perfect," she was told. Then she put down her guitar and they walked away. I asked to take a photo first—wow, they were very willing. It was amazing, very friendly, extremely so.
They handed Praew a guitar pick and gave the camera stick to my daughter. We took family photos, and then they left the rehearsal room. They only rehearsed once yesterday. It was fantastic. After the rehearsal, they knew it would work, and then they went straight onto the stage.”
