The water rose to shin level throughout the alley, starting to seep into the front of the house, prompting family members to scramble to place tarps, stones, and bricks to create a makeshift barrier to hold back the floodwaters from entering the garage and the house itself.
In this incident, the veteran actress opened up about the difference between this flood and the one in 2011. Back then, she and her family were "alert and alarmed," preparing thoroughly in advance, which helped them avoid damage. In contrast, this time she followed the government's repeated message to "stay calm," so she did not elevate belongings or prepare sandbags or any flood defenses at all.
However, the water surged quickly starting late at night. When the actress woke up in the morning, she found herself already a "flood victim," with no prior warning. She only received an SMS alert at 9:00 a.m., by which time the floodwaters had already inundated the area. Nevertheless, Kwang Kamolchanok sent her concern and support to all those affected by ongoing crises, urging everyone to stay composed, use wisdom in handling the situation, and hoping they can safely overcome the natural disasters together.
