The flooding situation remains a persistent challenge for many communities, but amid the hardship, we have witnessed a steady stream of compassion from Thai people nationwide reaching out to assist those in need.
Most recently, a group of young actors from Channel 3 stepped forward to support the affected communities. Led by Denkhun Ngamnet, Mikey Panithan, and First Parada, along with friends, they gathered to distribute relief bags to those suffering in Romklao Housing Estate, Mistine Alley, and Poonsinthani Village during the evening yesterday.
Photos from the visit were shared on Instagram @mosmos77 with a caption sending encouragement to the community. It noted this was their second day in the field and included updates from officials reporting severe flooding in some areas. In addition to food and supplies for people, pets in the area are also facing hardships.
“Day 2 today, our group visited Romklao Housing Estate, Mistine Alley, and Poonsinthani Village. Officials reported very high floodwaters. Sending strength to everyone. Today, we brought dog and cat food, though not a lot. Locals mentioned that dog and cat food and cat litter are needed—if anyone is heading to these areas, please bring them. Thanks to everyone who joined this mission.”
They also sent heartfelt wishes of strength to all those affected, hoping they will endure and overcome this crisis.
