After Tong Suraphan Jamlongkul or Tong WongTwo the former 90s duo singer, renowned musician and producer, passed away from stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer at the age of 58 at Bhumibol Hospital on the morning of 28 September 2026. His family held the funeral rites at Pavilion 18, Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Woramahawihan, starting from 29 September 2026.
Most recently, on the evening of 30 September 2026, the second night of Tong WongTwo's funeral chant ceremony took place. The atmosphere remained solemn and sorrowful, with family members as well as close friends gathering to pay their respects.
On this evening, Pebble Preenaphan, the eldest daughter, Bambam Chatchanan, his son, and Boss, the youngest son, all three siblings attended their father's funeral ceremony. Bambam had just flown back from Australia to join the rites.
The funeral schedule for Tong WongTwo is as follows: On Thursday, 1 October 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the funeral chant ceremony will continue. On Friday, 2 October 2026, there will be a break from chanting. The cremation ceremony is set for Saturday, 3 October 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Dharma sermon by the monks, followed at 10:30 a.m. by chanting of Buddhist scriptures including Matika and Bangsukool, and offering of midday meal. At noon, the coffin will be brought to the crematorium, with the cremation meeting at 1:00 p.m. (Crematorium 1).
