Ken Phupoom Shares Latest Photos of His Bread Shop in Sai Mai Flooded Before Opening (Video)

The young leading actor planned to expand his bread shop chain. Ken Phupoom Pongpanupak. He was preparing to open a bread shop branch in Sai Mai. The shop's construction is complete, and it is currently being stocked and decorated, with the opening approaching.

However, when flooding occurred in the Sai Mai area, Ken grew anxious. After returning from Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, he immediately rode a motorcycle through the rain to check on the shop. He posted a video showing the shop's condition as he moved items onto tables to prevent water damage and placed concrete slabs as barriers to keep water out, captioning: “Back from Hat Yai and straight to work. Northern flood warning 30/9/22. Urgently moving refrigerators at Sai Mai branch. KenPhupang #SaiMai #Flood”.

In the video, Ken Phupoom said, “The northern flood warning has come; how can I just sit still? As soon as I heard the news, my whole body trembled. Anyone who can stay, stay, but I had to go secure the shop first. I rushed straight to the Sai Mai branch since it's already flooded. When I arrived, it felt like the sea with all these waves.”

“I quickly checked inside the shop to see if water had entered. So far, we're lucky—the inside is very dry. Seeing this is a relief. Next, I have to start moving the refrigerators.”

“Do I really want to lift refrigerators right now? I hurried to get them onto tables quickly. I don’t know where the extra strength came from—such teamwork. The first fridge was fine, but my back hurt lifting the next ones. Still, safety comes first.”

“With the refrigerator task done, let's check the front of the shop. We are now creating a wave barrier art piece because sandbags were unavailable. What was once a roadside shop is now a waterfront shop. To everyone in Sai Mai, stay strong.”

When asked when this branch will open, he responded, “I still don’t know.”
