Touted as one of the most anticipated Thai films of 2026 even before its official announcement, “Prasert” is a major production by Chai Saeng Adventure, directed by Kongkiat Khomsiri.
On 24 Sep 2026 at 9:00 AM, Chai Saeng Adventure, led by CEO Chaiwat Mingmai, held a grand auspicious ceremony to commence filming “Prasert” for good fortune at the City Pillar Shrine, Bangkok (Sanam Luang). This new film by director Kongkiat Khomsiri features three lead actors in distinct roles coming together for the first time: Kanchai Kamnerdploy, returning to full-time film acting after 15 years; Sukolwat Kannarot; and Phopthorn Suntornyanakit. The cast also includes Ariyathat Platal (Boy Lomosonic), Nantawut Boonrapsap, Chayanun Supananon, Apichai Trakulpetchkai (Lek Greasy Cafe), Nakarin Jarunwitthaya (Champ Mairaph), and Nong Happy-Thananon Rarnron, along with many others who will contribute to the film’s intensity before its cinema release on 26 November.
“Prasert” tells the story of Prasert (Kanchai), a car rental business owner involved in the criminal underworld. Out of necessity, Prasert collaborates with a gang of hitmen who are as close as family: Dong Rajawat (Sukolwat), Banjop Nokdab (Phopthorn), Sak Boploi (Boy Lomosonic), Lek Sila (Nantawut), Tee Mangkon (Lek Greasy Cafe), and Tawee Pangtor (Champ Mairaph). When a critical mission goes wrong, Prasert becomes a fugitive, triggering a relentless pursuit.
