Following the case Tong Suraphan Jamlongkul or Tong Wong Two the former 90s duo singer, musician, and renowned producer, passed away from stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer at age 58 at Bhumibol Hospital. His family held the funeral at Sala 18, Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Woramahawihan.
Most recently, on the evening of 1 October 2026, a funeral chant ceremony for Tong Wong Two was held for the third and final night. The atmosphere remained sorrowful, with family members, close friends, and acquaintances attending.
Among the three siblings, Pebble Preenaphan and Bam Bam Chatchanan the daughters and son of Tong and Pookki Prisena Praisaeng, along with young Bossa, Tong's son with his new wife. Though still grieving their father's passing, all three stayed strong and greeted guests with smiles.
At the funeral chant tonight, GMM Grammy was the host, with Lek Bussaba Daoruang CEO and Vice Chairman of GMM Grammy Public Company Limited attending as the ceremony’s chairperson. Also present was female singer Earn Surattikan Phakcharoen or Earn The Star, as well as former male singer Jeab Pisuth Sapwijit, now a member of the Senate, JR Kittikulwong, former duo singer JR-Voy from RS label, and Mint Attawadee Jiramineekul, former female singer from Grammy, who also attended the ceremony.
Tong Wong Two’s funeral schedule: On Friday, 2 October 2026, there will be a rest day from chanting. The cremation ceremony will be on Saturday, 3 October 2026, starting at 10:00 with monks delivering sermons. At 10:30 monks will chant Buddhist prayers, Mātikā-Bangsukūl chants, and offer alms. At 12:00 the coffin will be carried around the crematorium, followed by the cremation at 13:00 (Crematorium 1).
