Party Involved Apologizes to Boom Panadda Over Outdated Celebrity Rescuer Remark, Admits Mistake as a Costly Lesson

Following a heated controversy in the rescue community, a Facebook user posted a sarcastic message saying, “I want to be wild, those outdated celebrities turned rescuers asking for donations on their first day,” at that time. Boom Panadda Wongpudee Chairperson of the Foundation for Good Deeds, visited Chachoengsao Province to assist people affected by flooding. This incident caused Boom Panadda to immediately respond sharply, affirming she had been informed of the public's need before delivering 500 survival kits and setting up a kitchen to help flood victims.

Recently, the original poster on Facebook, Pitchayaporn Rungsangthong, issued a public apology to Boom Panadda, stating:

“I, Miss Pitchayaporn Rungsangthong, would like to use this space to apologize to Ms. Boom Panadda Wongpudee for the post that referenced her, causing damage and public misunderstanding. I sincerely apologize at this opportunity.

In our work, we fully recognize that the incident caused discomfort and affected the feelings of Ms. Boom Panadda, who has been a pillar in helping society and standing alongside the people. We deeply thank Ms. Boom Panadda for listening, showing understanding, and giving us a chance to improve.

This event is a costly lesson and an important experience requiring greater caution, mindfulness, and emotional control when communicating with the public.

We humbly apologize to all citizens who have followed the news and felt disappointed by this incident, and kindly ask everyone to forgive this mistake to allow us an opportunity to prove ourselves and continue our volunteer work for society.”

With utmost respect and sincere remorse, Miss Pitchayaporn Rungsangthong.”
