Many areas are still experiencing flooding in both Bangkok and various provinces due to heavy and increasing rainfall. Throughout this time, numerous volunteer teams have been actively assisting those affected, including one of the well-known actresses and drama producers. “Kob Papassara Techapaiboon” Together with officials from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, she braved the floodwaters and difficulties, taking a boat to deliver supplies and care directly to residents impacted by flooding in Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province.
Although the relief efforts were challenging throughout the journey, the volunteer team united in fully supporting the affected residents to the best of their ability. Kob shared a touching photo alongside the message:
“Even though it’s raining and the water is rising, we remain undaunted, ready to fully support the residents suffering from the floods. We reached three communities: 1. Wat Metarung Community 2. Wat Plab Suthawas Community 3. Ban Sala Daeng Nuea Community, where flood victims reside.”
In Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province, there are 91 households in Village No. 2, 69 households in Village No. 3, and 105 households in Village No. 5, totaling 265 households. These areas lie outside the flood barrier embankments and border the Chao Phraya River.
“Even though it’s raining and the water is rising, we remain undaunted, ready to fully support the residents suffering from the floods.” This small mission holds deep meaning because every survival kit and item delivered is not only essential supplies but also a heartfelt encouragement to those facing hardship. Kob concluded that the small happiness from having the opportunity to help is a vital source of strength for all the Poh Teck Tung Foundation staff, who stand beside the people and continue to provide full support to those affected.
