After the rising football talent “Te Warakorn Changkhian Dee” from the Mon Thong football team, who is now starring in the film “The Coach of Dreams” which is Te's first acting role,
Te recently went on a promotional tour for the film and visited Thairath Entertainment for the first time, where he opened up about his work and love life amid rumors that he is dating an older woman, 28 years old, who is a single mother.
Te revealed that now, with his involvement in the film, more people are recognizing him, which makes him excited. At the media screening, he was surprised by the large crowd and felt shy in front of the cameras. Wearing a suit for the first time, he felt encouraged by fans' comments, mostly positive, though some were negative. He chooses to focus mainly on the positive feedback and pays little attention to the negative comments.
When asked how he handles negative comments, he said he just reads them but doesn’t care or get upset, acknowledging that people have the right to express their opinions.
Some comments mention his girlfriend, but he and his partner don’t pay much attention to those. He said it’s not in their mindset to respond or engage. He’s aware that people have looked up information about her and seen the news, but they continue living their normal lives, focusing on their responsibilities. Regarding his girlfriend having a child, he has known about it long before they started dating or talking.
Asked about comments doubting their relationship due to the age gap, Te responded, “Those people might be idealistic. I don’t think much about it. I live my life and I’m happy with my girlfriend. I’m not too serious about those opinions. Right now, I focus on football, studying, and work, while my girlfriend focuses on her work. When the time is right, we meet.”
Regarding comments advising him, as a young man, not to have a girlfriend yet, Te said, “Times have changed. For me, age doesn’t matter. It’s about whether we can support and push each other forward, share a good future, and be happy. I don’t pay attention to what others say.”
After information about his girlfriend was revealed, some people complimented her beauty. Te said, “She’s beautiful, caring, funny, mature, and teaches me everything—what’s good and what’s not.”
When asked how they started their relationship, Te said, “I saw her on Instagram. My older brother introduced her, and she was exactly my type. I watched her Instagram stories and secretly liked them at first. She didn’t respond much initially, but after liking more, she replied. We talked for a while before I decided to ask her out.”
When asked if she cheers for him at football matches, Te said she supports him from the screen because she’s usually busy working. He’s okay with that and just wants her to stay with him a long time. Having her is a good safe zone for him. He said he loves only her and recently they have posted some sweet couple photos.
When asked if single women regret that he has a girlfriend, Te said, “I already have a girlfriend. I want fans to cheer and support my work instead. Please stop focusing on my private life and focus on my football, which they have known me for from the start. Follow that instead and leave my personal life alone.”
Regarding concerns that having a girlfriend might harm his football career, Te assured, “It definitely won’t. I guarantee it. Football remains my path, but right now I’m injured and my body isn’t at 100%, so I need physical therapy first.”
