The expectant mother couldn't stay silent any longer and posted a message to vent and protect herself and her unborn child. The powerful-voiced singer "Prang Prangtip" or Prangtip Tha-lok recently opened up about the nearly one-year-old drama regarding "not singing Happy Birthday to a client."
She had remained silent all this time, hoping the issue would fade away, but it never did. To this day, an unknown person continues to harass and make snide comments, even extending to her unborn baby about to enter the world.
Prangtip wrote, "I want to speak out once to protect myself, my family, and my child.
I have typed and deleted this message many times. This incident began when I did not sing Happy Birthday. I stayed silent for almost a year to avoid escalation, thinking silence would make it pass. But it hasn’t. Today, as I am about to become a mother, that person’s actions have reached my baby, forcing me to write this post.
It started with the Happy Birthday song on 6 July 2025 GMT+7. The issue arose from a misunderstanding during that event. After the show ended, I thanked everyone, greeted fans, and took photos as usual. I never intended to refuse to sing the song and have always sung it at every event.
After the incident, I struggled with its impact on my work and mental health, so I decided to pursue legal measures to protect myself. It ended with mediation and withdrawal of the lawsuit. Regarding the venue, we have resolved the matter amicably and remain willing to work together. This post is not about the venue; please do not criticize it.
However, another aspect remains unresolved. At that time, one person involved was included in the lawsuit. I withdrew charges for that person and all parties after court mediation because I only wanted an apology and hoped the truth would reach fans to lessen the impact on my career, nothing more.
But the apology I awaited, agreed upon in court, was almost immediately deleted after posting. I was heartbroken, feeling I had given a chance, yet my hopes were completely unmet.
Since then, fans have alerted me that whenever news about me appears, this person repeatedly comments with the same references to this issue. I don't know their intentions, but it happens so often I recognize the pattern. It feels like the matter was never truly resolved or corrected.
Recently, even the news about my pregnancy attracted comments about the birthday song again. I feel this is starting to involve my child, which I cannot accept. That is why I must speak out now.
The impact over the past year has been very hard on me. I was canceled from jobs early on, mocked with phrases like "Will she sing that song?" or "If hired, will she sing?" and many more. Invitations to events became jokes I never found funny. I was mocked in real life and social media, severely affecting my mental health. Many times I sat reflecting on these events. I have sung all my life to bring joy, yet I am remembered only for this one phrase.
What saddens me most is that true fans do not dare ask me to sing Happy Birthday or hesitate to talk to me about this. I am still the same person who never intended to refuse, but once the news spread that way, full understanding could never be fully restored.
Now, close to delivery, a time when I should rest, I feel unsafe, with a pounding heart and sleeplessness, worrying if that person will escalate comments or stir trouble involving my child. I have endured this myself and remain in this profession, but I ask that this not happen to my child.
I want to use this post to tell fans and future clients that I am always ready to sing and create happiness. I never intend to ruin anyone’s joy, especially over singing. I ask that person to stop any actions affecting me and my family. I have forgiven once, but forgiveness does not mean the same issue can happen repeatedly.
Thank you to fans who have given support and updates continuously. I see every concern, and every encouragement truly keeps me here."
Many followers have come forward to show support for expectant mother Prangtip.
