This has become a hot topic that has shaken the volunteer community recently! "Pee Ple - Nakorn Silachai" opened up to Thairath Entertainment about being deceived by a gang of scammers disguised as "fake volunteers" who tricked him into donating money to help flood victims.
They infiltrated the "Thai Naka" Foundation, claiming to have full equipment and to prepare boxed meals for distribution.
Pee Ple explained that the scammer befriended the Thai Naka Foundation team, claiming a desire to help flood victims and showing a profile that included having complete equipment and volunteering to make quality boxed meals to distribute to affected locals. Seeing the genuine intention to help the community as a volunteer, Pee Ple trusted them and transferred money for meal preparation twice, totaling tens of thousands of baht. (It is currently under investigation whether the meals ordered were actually distributed.)
Exposed! "Tac Pharanyu" warned Pee Ple, revealing impersonation involving "Ajarn Beer."
The truth came out when actor Tac Pharanyu messaged Pee Ple to be cautious. Suspicious, Pee Ple checked with "Ajarn Beer Khon Tuentham" and was shocked to learn that the scammer had falsely claimed to be "Pee Ple Nakorn’s team" to Ajarn Beer to coordinate assistance, basically impersonating a celebrity to deceive others widely.
Suspicious behavior! Requested to put the logo on the vehicle but was refused; later learned Ajarn Beer had filed a police report.
Additionally, Pee Ple revealed that recently the scammer even asked to put the "Thai Naka" logo on their own vehicle. Fortunately, Pee Ple became suspicious of their odd behavior and declined. He added that Ajarn Beer Khon Tuentham has already filed a police complaint to take legal action and prevent the scammer from deceiving others further.
