This has become another hot topic on social media regarding Jae Aim's fried bananas at Wat Rai Khing. They have come under scrutiny over the drama about selling bags at 100 baht, sparking criticism from various perspectives. Recently, Aim chose not to let it slide and openly clarified everything decisively through Thairath Entertainment, addressing all points strongly in her style.
Opening up about the 100 baht price and the misunderstood profits.
Aim explained the reason for pricing each bag at 100 baht is that each shop has different production costs, and hers involves a different cost structure. She admitted that customer response has been so strong that it’s been hard to keep up with demand.
"Actually, the price of 100 baht is because our costs are different—each shop has different costs. I admit sales are very good, so good that we can barely keep up. No matter how much we prepare, it’s never enough."
Moreover, many might think that with such strong sales she must be making huge profits, but Aim revealed the actual figure is just over 30,000 baht in profit. The better the sales, the higher the expenses rise accordingly, including employee overtime pay and the increased cost of raw materials based on production volume.
Affirming sincerity and fighting back against all drama.
Regarding the tax issue raised by many, Aim firmly confirmed she has never considered evading taxes and has paid them properly every year. She stated she has never given in to the wave of negative feedback that has come, choosing instead to face and fight back against all drama confidently, standing by what is right. "I confirm I have never evaded taxes; I pay every year. I always fight back against all drama that comes—never giving up. Fabulous and fierce."
