Organizer Announces New Go-Kart Race Results: Luk Por Tonupat Takes 1st in Race 3 Across 3 Races Nong Payu Places 4th

A controversy arose in the children's go-kart race for ages 8-9 at the TrueVisions–TOYOTA Junior Kart Championships 2026, Cadet B class, over a protest regarding engine specifications.

The Royal Automobile Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage (RAAT) released a statement confirming that the engine specifications were indeed incorrect.

Recently, the 2W Karting Facebook page, representing the Super Kart Thailand 2026 organizing committee, issued an urgent announcement dated 18 Oct 2026 GMT+7 stating:

“Announcement of the results for race 3, CADET B class, ages 8-9, from the Super Kart Thailand race 3. Following the order from the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage (RAAT), the organizing committee has reviewed and officially certified the results for the CADET B class, ages 8-9.”

The announcement revealed that car number 69, driven by "Nong Payu" (BHAYU RANGSISINGPIPAT), was disqualified (DQ) from the race due to failing vehicle inspection (Failed to Scrutineer).

As a result, car number 99, driven by "Nong Maclaren" (PEAMYAPAT LERTTAWEEVIT), son of "Por Tonupat," moved up to claim first place in race 3. In the overall standings of three races, Nong Maclaren placed second and Nong Payu fourth.
