Fans grew concerned when the actress Tai Saitharn Niyomkarn was diagnosed with Influenza A and developed a lung infection, requiring hospitalization at Paolo Chokchai 4 Hospital and ICU treatment.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Tum Phadung Nongpong, posted photos with updates on Tai’s condition: “It took some time to get her to the hospital. The latest: Tai’s blood oxygen fluctuated between 91-94, blood pressure was high, and she had a fever of 38.6°C. Currently, doctors are evaluating her condition.”
He later posted updates with photos: “Tai is now in the ICU with a lung infection; visits are not allowed yet. #PrayForHer” and “Latest update: Tai has a lung infection and a bloodstream infection. She is in the ICU, Building 5, Paolo Chokchai 4 Hospital. Visiting hours are 11:00-12:00 and 16:00-17:00. Thank you all for your concern. Tai is in good spirits.”
Tum Phadung then shared a video of Tai and updated that her condition improved: “Latest! Tai’s condition has improved. She was moved out of the ICU this evening but will continue recovery in hospital for two more days. #LuckyNoBloodstreamInfection #TaiThanksEveryoneForTheirConcern” and “Friends, Tai has been transferred to a regular room at Paolo Chokchai 4 Hospital, Building 5, 6th floor, Room 5603. Visits are welcome anytime.”
After leaving the ICU, Tai posted a video with a message: “Latest update... Sending strength to all flood victims. Once I recover, I will go to help everyone. Apologies to the film crew for the delays. Please all take care of your health—don’t get sick like I did; it was very painful. I even experienced blood pressure drops and shock. May blessings protect you all.”
