After Mae Kae the mother of two female singers, Jenny Ratchanok Suwanket, known as Jenny Daimeodsodsueun, and Lilly Narinnat Chuea Laem, known as Lilly Daimeodsodsueun, posted a photo with Pop a young life insurance agent, she faced a wave of controversy, turning into a hot topic that netizens continue to criticize to this day.
Recently, Mae Kae shared a clip from a live stream where she talked with fans about preparing to sue netizens for harsh comments, captioning it, “Raising money, please wait .” In the clip, Mae Kae said, “Last time, when there was an issue involving my family, I sued a lot and received about 3 million baht. But I just didn’t speak out. Today, I’m saying it clearly: I’ll take the money and donate it. The money I get, I won’t keep it; I’ll use it all for charity—to help temples and children.”
“I have to do this now. People say I’m too kind. I can’t take it anymore... In Southern Thai, ‘I can’t take it’ means I don’t feel okay or it troubles me. But you know, some people say, ‘Mae Kae, I’m sorry, I have no money, I didn’t understand or know what I was doing, I didn’t mean to comment badly.’ You know what? They have to pay. I got a lot, just didn’t make it public or speak about it.”
“But this time I’m warning: if anyone still does it, I’ll take action. Just waiting for my brother to come back first. Yes, being too good isn’t always right. Sometimes if you’re too good, friends look down on you. Sometimes staying silent isn’t the answer either. If someone troubles us, suing is better.”
“I’m saying it here: maybe Mae Kae is a different person now. Before, I was very weak and accepted everything, but today, if I’m not wrong—let me say it clearly—I’m not wrong. Believe me, I like what’s right.”
“If anyone causes me trouble, I’ll take action. I’m telling you, the money I’ve gotten, I’ve donated all of it. Last time, I got nearly 3 million baht. I didn’t keep a single baht; I donated it all—to temples and to children.”
Afterwards, Mae Kae posted a photo of herself with the message, “I won’t accept apologies. I only want cash, please. I’m raising money for charity. If anyone wants to join in, comment below.” Fans showed support and encouraged Mae Kae to sue netizens making harsh comments.
