The issue quickly became a hot topic when beauty queen and TV host Bum Panadda Wongpudi shared a shocking story after her daughter, Andaman, was involved in a car accident with a motorcycle. Although Andaman’s car was covered by insurance, the injured party refused to deal with the insurer and instead loudly demanded compensation at their home, frightening the daughter. When Bum Panadda asked why they wouldn’t allow the insurance to handle it, they gave various excuses, prompting her to file an official police report.
By Bum Panadda posted a photo of herself holding the police report along with pictures of the other party, writing: “Last night, my daughter Andaman was driving out in front of the house and collided with a motorcycle. This wasn’t a big issue because we have first-class insurance. But it didn’t end there. The injured party demanded an ambulance to take them to the hospital, which was arranged by Petchkasem Rescue Team at the end of the lane, who provided first aid.
However, the injured said they were in severe pain and requested hospital transport. My daughter went to the police station to meet with the insurance and filed a report, expressing willingness to cover actual damages. Yet the injured party insisted on refusing to negotiate with the insurance and demanded hotel accommodation expenses, claiming they traveled from Suphanburi, as well as other damages. When the insurance arrived at the hospital to collect claim documents, the injured fled without talking to them.
Then around 11 a.m. today, the injured party came to our home shouting to demand compensation again, which scared my daughter. So I came to handle it myself. When I asked why they came from Suphanburi and what they were doing here, they said nothing, didn’t know anyone, just came for no reason. When asked why they wouldn’t let the insurance handle it and instead demanded money directly from my daughter, they gave inconsistent excuses. So I decided to file an official police report.”
