After the famous actor, drama producer, and event organizer Kong Piya Sewatpikool appeared on the “Khom Kor Story Podcast” on the BenzKhomKorr YouTube channel, he discussed a famous star who often arrives late. When the star is very famous, they can't be criticized much and might give a dog-faced expression. Some very famous stars want to be late and avoid rehearsals, having their managers rehearse instead or sending video clips to review.
Some insist on wearing clothes from a specific store and choosing particular makeup artists and hairstylists. If the star's schedule fits but the makeup artist's doesn't, the schedule must adjust to the makeup artist's availability. Clients have to accept this because they've chosen that star, causing many to wonder which famous star he meant (Watch the clip)
Recently, on the “Put Suea Ro” show on Thairath TV Channel 32, Angie and Rotmay Kanungnij interviewed Kong Piya by phone. Angie asked about his appearance on Khom Kor Story, mentioning the star who likes to be late and demands six-figure clothing costs paid separately by clients, insisting on clothes from a specific store, and sometimes giving a dog-faced look. Kong Piya laughed loudly before replying that he encountered this in events and shows and could only give that much of a hint.
Rotmay asked if he could hint whether the star was female or male. Kong jokingly said it was Rotmay herself. Rotmay laughed and said she was never late and always punctual. Kong praised Rotmay for her punctuality and kindness. Angie asked if the star is still seen in the industry or disappeared. Kong replied that the star probably hasn't disappeared easily but said it’s important to know who you’re dealing with at work.
Angie asked if the star had changed. Kong said he didn’t know much as they rarely met. When asked if he stopped using that star’s services, Kong said if clients want to hire her, he would offer her but would warn them about her behavior first. He emphasized he doesn’t blacklist anyone; if clients want to hire them, he can arrange it but with a warning about the star’s character.
Kong affirmed that both Rotmay and Angie are very nice. Rotmay asked if the star is younger than her. Kong said probably younger. Rotmay guessed it must be someone from the newer generation, but Kong said not that new and joked to stop before he gets sued.
Angie wished Kong continued success. Kong said he missed Angie and Rotmay, then reiterated that the star was encountered at events and shows, not on drama sets. He said all the leading actresses he met on drama sets were lovely, which surprised Angie. She exclaimed “Mom mentioned actresses!” and said everyone would know who he meant. Rotmay guessed it meant a woman. Kong clarified he just said all leading actresses were nice, but the problematic star was related to events and shows. Angie joked that Kong has thousands of events a year and should guess who it was. She teasingly asked if it was the gala event yesterday and if the star made the cut. Kong said the footage was from a long time ago.
