Previously, a major shock hit the television industry when "Born Operation Co., Ltd." a TV production company led by Toi Traiphop Limpapath, a famous host and executive, announced it would cease operations and lay off all employees, stopping all business from 30 Nov 2026 onwards due to a severe economic downturn and ongoing losses.
Most recently, Toi Traiphop held a press conference on the matter, firmly stating that the company is not closing but shifting business format by stopping TV production—specifically "Krua Khun Toi" and "Today Show" airing on Channel 3—and moving to online platforms to continue the business amid production costs and current economic conditions. He decided this to ensure employees receive severance pay since continuing in TV is no longer viable.
At times, Toi also thanked fans for their continued support and addressed why many wonder about his habit of praising guests on the show.
“I sincerely thank everyone, especially those who have written online. I truly appreciate and feel grateful for your concern and encouragement. Some don't offer encouragement and say they expect me to survive anyway.
But no matter what, however you write about me, I listen to it all. I sincerely thank those who write positively. For negative comments, I’m not angry at all. Honestly, I’m beyond anger, beyond frustration, beyond questioning who I am or what my identity is. I’ve moved past all that.
For negative feedback, I try to improve and fix things as best as I can, though it doesn’t mean I’ll always satisfy everyone. For example, 'Stop praising people so much, no need to watch anymore.' I’m not stopping, don’t worry. I still praise because I believe society needs this. If someone has good qualities, they deserve to be acknowledged.
Today, we talk about the bad in society. I don’t mind; it’s everyone’s right and duty to present it. But I also have the duty to highlight the good, and I will continue doing so.
No need to worry, 'Krua Khun Toi' is still here, I’m still here. People often ask me when I will stop. I’ve said for a long time that I wanted to quit at 45, but now it’s not the case. I realize I will only stop when I die or when I physically can’t continue.”
