After Mae Ket the mother of two female singers, Jenny Ratchanok Suwanket or Jenny from the 'Kid Mai Dok Tod Cheun' label, and Lilly Narinat Chuealaem, or Lilly from the 'Kid Mai Dok Tod Cheun' label, posted a photo with Pop, her new close man, the situation escalated into drama due to personal issues of the man. This made Jenny unhappy about what happened, turning into a hot topic recently.
Recently, Jenny from the 'Kid Mai Dok Tod Cheun' label posted a lengthy message addressing the drama about her mother Mae Ket’s new love, with the following content:
“Lately, everywhere I go, there’s news about Jenny’s family… Today, I want to summarize and conclude in this single post after thoughtful consideration over several days, calming down, and regaining clarity.
Before I start writing, I ask all media that if you want to report this, please use the entire text. Do not use short headlines that could cause misunderstandings among those interested in this matter.
First, I want to tell everyone that personally, I have no problem with my mother having a boyfriend or partner. I have always been happy with Mae Ket whenever she finds love because when she’s happy, all her children are happy too. A mother deserves to experience good and true love because Mae Ket has been disappointed and hurt many times, and she’s worked hard raising two children on her own all along.
Some have suggested that Mae Ket should stay home to raise grandchildren rather than seek new love. I think that since we chose to have children ourselves, we shouldn’t push this responsibility onto her. She has her own life to live too. For me, seeing and enjoying the grandchildren occasionally is already a happiness.
However, regarding my mother’s current relationship, I’m quite closed off because I feel everything was wrong from the start. Since this man came into our lives, his wife reached out to Jenny and Lilly through all channels to tell and talk about his actions. I won’t go into details of what was said, but as a woman, I sympathize and feel sorry because I also grew up with separated parents.
I contacted this man directly on the first day I heard the news. He told me they were not together because they had no marriage registration. That made me more biased because I believe that a marriage certificate alone does not define the bond between husband and wife; actions are what matter in a relationship.
After hearing this, I quickly talked to Mae Ket. She told me she would not get involved anymore, and the man promised me the same (I have all the evidence).
After some time, I noticed the man started to be more assertive on comments and social media. I contacted my mother, but since then she has not replied. So I never had a chance to seriously discuss this with her.
I disagree with the man’s rush to publicly introduce the relationship—not just because of timing, but because his issue with his ex-wife is unresolved. Eventually, his ex-wife went live on social media with their child. This made me question why he was so eager to reveal their relationship with no reason. He should have given time to the other party and to get to know my mother better, who is also a public figure. In the end, it became the news I predicted.
I never wanted to control or interfere with my mother’s life decisions, but I’ve worked very hard to bring our family to this point. My mother knows some of our financial issues relate to this matter, so I truly could not stay silent.
Regarding the man’s sister or relatives who made clips damaging my reputation, I will definitely sue. I want to clarify that I have never insulted my mother with harsh words, never used violent language, never looked down on anyone’s profession or work, and never judged anyone by status or appearance. I only judge actions.
I also want to tell them to spend their time making videos criticizing me for opposing my mother’s new love by encouraging the mother of your nephew or the man’s ex-wife, who is lonely, rather than focusing on me. You are not part of my family; you don’t know the full facts and have no right to judge me. You do not know what my family has been through to get here.
From today onward, I have decided to understand and let go of my mother’s new relationship and will not speak about it anymore because I believe it’s pointless. If the man really wants to prove true love, I have only one condition: they must live separately and not interfere with or live in my homes in the south or Bangkok as before. I hope they love each other long-term so our home won’t become a frequent news topic inviting public criticism.
Finally, I apologize again for the drama in my family. I have truly done my best.”
