It caused Ning Panita to become extremely furious after learning that scammers had taken clips from her live sales broadcasts to create new accounts impersonating her and live-stream selling discounted products, undercutting authorized dealers. This caused her significant distress. She vowed to pursue the matter to the fullest. At the Khuay Zaap Festival event, Ning opened up about the situation and also shared moments after catching the bouquet at her close friend Oh Pakjira's wedding.
What made you so angry?
"I exploded with anger. While sitting at the event checking content, a fan sent me a message asking if I was at Central Pinklao because they saw a clip of me live selling. But it was a scammer using my name, Ning Panita, and my photo. They saved my live sales video and replayed it, pretending that I was selling. The viewers were many, and they sold products at discounted prices, which none of my authorized dealers even offer. I was very angry. I went live to confront them, saying that creating my products wasn’t a shortcut—I put in all my effort, heart, and the last of my money to make it happen. And then these scammers just do this easily?"
"I asked people, when we encounter scammers, we often say, 'Don’t get involved, just ignore it.' But now, these scams are all over social media feeds. What happens if our customers buy these and suffer harm? Even though our products are expensive—I want to be clear, we don’t sell cheap products—I intended this to be the last solution for those wanting to lose weight. I sourced innovation from four countries and made deals with them. It’s not easy."
"I work every day and do live sales myself daily—it's exhausting. I've invested all my money into this, and then I find this happening. I was very angry. Someone told me they’ve been doing this for two or three days. I was shocked because I was about to go live happily for the 9th anniversary of Khuay Zaap Show Market, but instead, there was a live stream with my name and many viewers buying at cut-rate prices. They saved my entire live broadcast, but in that stream, my friends like Prae, Ple, and Parade appeared, while the scammer’s channel sold other brands using my name."
"If anyone comments that I’m overreacting, I don’t care. Everyone must understand this is the hard-earned money I invested. If my investment fails, what will happen to my life?"
What happened when you confronted them live?
"I finished the live confrontation with 2.3K viewers, which is a lot. Many placed orders. My fans went in to comment that this is a scam, and the scammer blocked them."
Did you check the shopping cart to see if the products were yours?
"I haven’t checked yet, but how can they sell at around 400 baht? I can’t even sell at that price. This is disgraceful."
The products they sold weren’t yours?
"I want to say that when buying online, you must buy from trusted sources and our real representatives with followers. We care about our representatives’ feelings. If these scammers sell like this, how can our reps sell products? What exactly are they selling?"
"I’ve saved everything as evidence. I swear I’ll take them to prison. I’m serious. Don’t let this go. There are many like this. If people say I’m harsh, sometimes this is necessary because it took me so much effort to develop everything."
Did you know they had been selling for several days? Does that mean many people were fooled?
"A fan told me she bought from them, thinking it was a promotion. I believe many were deceived. After I went live, I told everyone to help me. I’m the real Ning sitting here, but a fake is live selling my products for about 400 baht, which is impossible. These scammers damage my brand. I invested a lot, and if anything happens, I just started this less than a month ago."
What will you do to prevent further damage?
"I will report to the police. In cases like this, we must find out who they are and show what prison looks like. There are many like this online, not just my brand. I’m saving evidence of all affected brands to file complaints together. I’ll consult my lawyer soon."
You intend to take this all the way?
"I’m not sure yet. I need to consult my lawyer about how far we can go and how traceable they are. I think it’s not difficult if the police cooperate, but it depends on their willingness."
Anything you want to say to those doing this?
"I think it’s better to have an honest profession. Those who work honestly and sincerely shouldn’t exploit others like this. Karma is real. It took me almost two years to build this brand, and I haven’t recouped my investment yet. I had to borrow money from partners to reach my goals. If something happens, what about my partners? How much more money will I have to repay on their behalf?"
You invested a lot in this business. Any message for those causing you so much harm?
"They probably don’t think about it. If they did, they wouldn’t do this. I’ll take legal action."
"Real products can be bought only through my official channels. I secretly put my logo inside the capsule in the packaging in places counterfeiters can’t see. I’m very afraid of fakes. Previously, when I was a weight-loss product presenter, I encountered counterfeits. The company couldn’t manage it, so I canceled my endorsement two years ago. I addressed these problems in my packaging and even inside the capsules. Using specific technology, you can distinguish a fake capsule from a real one—the real capsule says Dr.MASTER. I invested in these safeguards."
You sound angry and almost tearful? "Yes, I’m really angry. This was my last investment money for building a future for my child. Wouldn’t you be angry? I held back as much as I could to stand here for this interview out of respect, but I already told my team I didn’t want to do this interview."
"Have you ever seen me this angry? If anything happens, it will ruin everything. I borrowed a lot from partners."
You’re staking your life on this brand?
"Yes, I say I’m staking my life on this brand."
Recently, you caught the bouquet at Oh Pakjira’s wedding?
"I caught bouquets at two weddings—Woonsen’s and Oh Pakjira’s. At Oh Pakjira’s, actually, both I and Som-o Pratueng caught it together. Since she’s taller, I didn’t want to pull it away because she’s like a sister to me. We caught it at the same time, so I let it be. She said, ‘Go ahead, I want you to be the next to marry.’ Som-o is someone who likes to find boyfriends for me (laughs), so she gave it to me. There was also gold in the bouquet, but I haven’t checked how much yet."
What was the atmosphere like that day?
"Can we do a re-wedding? It was warm and emotional, with tears, fun, and letting go. Our friend group feels completely free and themselves when together. We meet every year for the birthdays of our nine friends. But at this big event, seeing my sister fulfilled in love felt complete. It was like all of us had a full feeling. Everyone wanted a re-wedding."
How did being in that moment fill your love in this way?
"Right after the event, I talked to Beer and told him, ‘I’m proud of you, little brother. Take care of my sister.’ I didn’t expect this day to come. I still tear up thinking about it. He’s amazing. He made me believe love requires sacrifice. I never believed that before, but he showed me that love must come with understanding and sacrifice. He never demands anything, even when Oh has to play a motherly role or be a friend. He loves everyone she loves. I wondered if I was too hard on him before. I teased him in every way to test if he was the real one, but he’s really kind."
You praised the friendship with Oh’s ex-husband, Fiat, who attended?
"Yes, and with Fiat there, it was so lovely. When Saendee sang, it moved everyone to tears. After the song, Nirin came to hug me saying she was proud of Saendee’s singing. I told Nirin she’s with Saendee every day, singing and dancing together. She’s hilarious."
Did you tell people that Nirin sang at her mother's wedding like this?
"I mentioned it, and Nirin responded like this—maybe not yet."
