Taew Natapohn Clarifies Nakee 3 Drama: Denies Being Bare-Chested, Shocked by First CG Image

After the leading actress Taew Natapohn Pornprapha submitted a letter opposing the screening of the film "Nakee 3 Garuda Nakee" due to a scene where her upper body or chest was digitally altered, which did not actually occur during filming. Subsequently, Mono Streaming Co., Ltd. issued a letter taking responsibility by editing the scene and postponing the release from 22 October 2026 to 23 October 2026, sparking social media debate.

Recently, Taew Natapohn posted a detailed explanatory letter on her Instagram @taewaew_natapohn, with the following content:

"Statement from Taew Natapohn

24 October 2026

Regarding certain images shown in the film "Nakee 3 Garuda Nakee" during the recent Gala screening, I would like to use this space to clarify the facts and share my feelings so everyone understands clearly.

First, I want to speak as a woman and an actress who loves and respects art deeply. At the same time, I have feelings, rights, and personal boundaries that I wish to be respected.

What I want to confirm, especially to those who saw the images at the Gala, is that the images showing me appearing bare-chested or with an exposed upper body are not actual photos of my body. They are created and altered using CG techniques. I was never actually bare during filming and did not choose or approve the final images shown. Before filming, I agreed to use CG techniques to portray the character in a literary world beautifully and realistically, according to the intended artistic vision. Throughout filming, I wore a costume that covered my chest and was well cared for by the crew.

However, because everyone's imagination varies and the final image details were not clearly agreed upon, I did not see such images before the Gala screening.

I must admit that seeing the image for the first time made me very uncomfortable and shocked because it differed from what I had imagined and exceeded the boundaries I felt comfortable with for how my image should be presented. Even though the image was CG-created, it is still my face and could lead viewers to believe it was an actual filmed shot or something I chose to allow.

My main concern is not just the feelings at the moment I saw the image but the long-term impact. Once the image is public, it could be recorded, shared, or disseminated without proper context, and I cannot continually explain the truth to everyone.

A single image could become the lasting memory people have of me, even though it is not a real filmed photo and not one I intended to represent myself.

Such misunderstanding could severely affect my reputation, dignity, and self-worth, as well as my feelings and life going forward. For me, this impact is too great to accept.

Therefore, I felt it necessary to act while there is still an opportunity to correct this before irreversible consequences occur.

For me, this feeling is my right, and I want to respect my own feelings and boundaries.

I have thus decided to exercise my rights by officially submitting a letter of objection and non-consent to halt the distribution and remove any CG-altered images or scenes that make me appear bare-chested from the film. This includes prohibiting use or dissemination of such images or scenes in any media format—film, still photos, video clips, publicity materials, online media, or any other platforms—now and in the future.

This decision is not intended to blame anyone or harm the work everyone has dedicated themselves to, but to affirm boundaries I feel are appropriate for myself as an actress and a woman.

After discussions, all parties listened and cooperated to find a solution, allowing the altered scenes to be corrected without affecting the film’s core content.

I thank everyone involved for their cooperation and swift action despite time constraints, and I apologize to viewers affected by the change in release date.

This incident has been an important lesson for me to better assert my boundaries and rights clearly from the start, so I don’t have to regret things that cannot be undone later.

Especially when working with CG techniques to create imagery beyond actual filming, I have learned the importance of communication and jointly reviewing images before release to ensure everyone shares a common vision and respects artistic beauty.

Ultimately, I still believe in the value of art and that the beauty of creative work can always coexist with respect for everyone’s feelings, rights, and dignity.

Although this incident has deeply affected me, I am grateful to all who listened and worked together toward a solution. I hope this decision will prevent hard-to-repair impacts in the future and allow everyone to continue pursuing the work they have passionately created.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.

With respect and sincerity,

Natapohn Pornprapha"
