Bum Panadda Responds to Dr. Khongkwan on Cash Safe Controversy, Explains Why She Hasnt Filed for Divorce Yet

Many people have sent their support to Bum Panadda after she publicly addressed the drama involving her husband, Got Athip Anantawan who developed over 100 rai of reserved forest land in Sri Ka-ang Subdistrict, Ban Na District, Nakhon Nayok Province, into a resort and trail running course. There were personal rumors that Got Athip was involved with another woman.

Most recently, Bum Panadda's mother opened up in "Thairath Entertainment" with "Jack Green" sharing her feelings and explaining why she did not go to the Bang Phlat district office to file for divorce, despite media waiting since morning.

"I was surprised that people in the industry posted photos and messages of support; it made me tear up. Last night, I cried a lot. I think I was releasing pent-up emotions. It felt comforting, like someone reached out when I had fallen. But the stress isn't over—some people continue to insult me. Many things are coming at me. I will gradually handle everything properly."

Regarding hugging Pee Ta Narakorn, before that I felt I had to do my job fully. Whatever I faced before going on the show, I still did my best on air. Maybe I did so well that people disliked me, but it was my duty. The interview was part of my role. I felt bad that after I did that, people disliked the guest and it extended to me too. That's okay. I take responsibility by not hosting the show for a month.

As for comments before the press conference and some harsh ones, that's people's opinions. However, if comments cross the line or harm the foundation, I stand up for the foundation and everyone involved. If damage is too great, I will take legal action. That's all I will say from now on. There may be a second phase if the other side acts further. There is still much information—it won't end in one day."

Dr. Khongkwan posted asking why the lucky money wasn't deposited in the bank?

"I replied to Dr. Khongkwan that I saw it as cash given in a lump sum. Sometimes it feels like a good gesture, like elders giving money or gold. Imagine that. The lucky money is kept as cash, not transferred. I received it that way and kept it in a safe. Why not ask the man why he took it? Why not look at the wrongdoers instead? Why focus on me putting the money down? This lucky money came from elders I respect and love.

It's like the 20 baht from monks that I still fold and keep in my wallet. It's the same here because the elders who gave it are deeply respected by me.

I told Dr. Khongkwan again that I saw it as cash given in a lump sum.

So it's not strange that I keep it in a safe. It's a safe, after all. It's a good feeling that the elders left it for me for emergencies. At least I can use it if needed. Money is money whether in a bank or a safe. But one shouldn't think someone will steal it. Dr. Khongkwan should question the other person, not criticize me for keeping money."

Dr. Khongkwan also asked about the personal account used to receive donations?

"Regarding that account, I will clarify later as it requires details. I can't answer fully now. There is still money in that account, so I cannot close it or move funds elsewhere. It has to remain as is for now. But I will close it to reassure everyone. If a disaster occurs, I will use personal funds first because using the foundation's account requires withdrawals at the bank every time. Maybe Dr. Khongkwan doesn't know this. That's why large foundations experience delays in getting aid like survival bags and water. There are procedures involving committee meetings and approvals before withdrawal. I'll handle closing the account, but it needs time because of committee approval and bank processes."

As for the lucky money, it doesn't matter where it's kept. It depends on who takes it. Dr. Khongkwan shouldn't criticize me. Honestly, I feel a bit disappointed because I thought she would understand me as a woman, but she doesn't."

So Bum Panadda's mother reads every comment and post?

"Many messages come in, especially when it's this high-profile. Of course, people send messages. But I'm sad that Dr. Khongkwan thinks this way."

Many people waited at the Bang Phlat district office today?

"He hasn't contacted me at all (referring to Got, right?). Yes, no contact at all. Am I going to wait in vain? Like a fool waiting? No. If there's no love, then just go."

Did Pee Got contact you at all?

"No. He contacted me only about the house. As I said, every conversation was about money. Regarding legal cases, if summoned, I will bring documents and cooperate fully."

Please thank Thairath fans for their support and embrace for Bum Panadda's mother?

"Thank you for all the support and for listening. I'm not saying I'm always right or that I do my best perfectly. I've just tried to do my best so far. From now on, I must walk the right path. How to live with my child and live my own life—I just need some time to get myself together here. Thank you very much."
