Superstar Aum Patcharapa Chaiyachue has caused considerable concern among her fans. Aum Patcharapa Chaiyachue Recently, she opened up about a major flood that left her stranded on an island-like area, unable to leave for eight days.
Floodwaters lasted for eight days, causing difficulties with travel and food supply.
Aum described the tense moment on the first day when floodwaters surged into the garage area and nearly reached the dog room, despite having water pumps and sandbags in place inside the house.
Living conditions were very challenging as she couldn’t go out to buy food because floodwaters blocked the village's main exit. Fortunately, a group of helpers delivered food using 6-wheel and 10-wheel trucks. She had stocked up generously on dog and cat food and kindly shared some with neighbors in need.
Bought the wrong type of boat, but bravely helped roadside dogs.
Another chaotic issue was traveling out of the house. Initially, she bought the wrong type of boat, causing it to sway dangerously and almost capsize. She then switched to a flat-bottomed boat for safety. The reason for using boats was that her mother wanted to go out to feed and assist stray dogs waiting nearby. Since they couldn’t row themselves, they hired a team member to steer. Aum also revealed the frightening experience during the flood as their house borders a forest area where snakes and monitor lizards often enter. The flooding made these animals confused, and when waters receded, crabs and snakes were still found inside the property.
Frustrated with the dog shelter being low; vows to move to an elevated house.
Aum candidly admitted frustration with the newly extended dog shelter, which was built lower than the main house floor. This caused floodwaters to nearly reach the dog room this time. She said if someone offered to buy the house, she would move immediately. She plans to build a new house elevated high above the ground. As for sandbags used to fight floods, they have been stored elsewhere due to lack of space; if flooding recurs, she will buy new ones to keep at the front. Regarding boats, she has now purchased a total of three—donating some to temples and villagers affected by the floods and keeping one for her mother to use when caring for the dogs.
