Fans Rally Support for Joy T-Skirt After Lung Surgery, Awaiting Biopsy Results

Fans sent abundant support when Joy T-Skirt or Thanyaporn Sonthikan underwent emergency lung surgery after a rapidly growing mass was found, to test whether it was a recurrence or a new growth and to plan further treatment.

Previously, Joy explained that during a follow-up she found spots in her breast and lung; the breast was normal, but the lung spot had grown. This surgery was to use a scope to remove tissue to determine if it was the same or a new lesion.

If it is the same = cancer spread, then we will plan treatment with specific drugs, chemotherapy, or targeted therapy depending on the doctor’s recommendation.

If it is new = surgery to remove part of the lung will be needed, and that would be the end.

She has already booked a PET SCAN to be sure and check thoroughly for any hidden cancer. Results will be in two weeks, so let’s all wait and hope together.

After Joy T-Skirt recovered and was confirmed safe, she posted a short video on her social media to update fans who had sent much support, captioned, “Joy has recovered and is safe now, but my lung still hurts. Thank you for all the encouraging messages from everyone.”

In the video, she also weakly said, “Thank you all very much, my lung hurts a lot.” This relieved friends in the entertainment industry and fans, who flooded comments with positive wishes for her speedy recovery and strength.
