Noom Kanchai Nearly Collapses After Giving Testimony in Donation Case Shocked by Unexpected Revelations

It made "P'Noom Kanchai" nearly collapse after giving testimony to investigators from Division 4, Economic Crime Police Bureau, for more than an hour regarding the 1 million baht donation to the Good Deeds Foundation of "Bum Panadda." Earlier reports said that after giving testimony, P'Noom nearly collapsed. He told reporters this was because of unexpected and disappointing matters, feeling as if everything had turned upside down.

"I have given my testimony completely. (Who has?) I have. As for others, we’ll see soon enough."

There is information that you nearly collapsed. What caused that?

"There were some things I never expected and felt disappointed about."

Is this disappointment directed at P'Bum or someone else?

"You’ll probably find out later."

Did they tell you anything that didn’t match what you already knew or saw?

"You should ask me what is true first."

Meaning nothing matches at all?

"I'd rather not say. Let’s just leave it at that."

What percentage of what they once told or said to you remains true?

"(Sighs) That’s hard to say. Better not to say more. Let’s just say it’s low."

After your testimony, was there information that contradicted what you previously knew?

"It contradicted almost all of my prior beliefs."

Do you want to leave any messages or warnings to anyone else?

"I would say that the truth is unavoidable. So anyone involved should tell the full facts. Don’t hide anything because if the truth is heavy, revealing it can make it lighter. Don’t misuse the law, and whatever happens, the financial trail cannot be avoided."

You said it contradicts what you heard. What does this mean for P'Bum's chances?

"Please don’t mention that person. Let’s leave it at that. Let the police do their work first. I believe the Thai public will learn the full story soon enough."

Are you still here as a witness, not a complainant?

"No, I am a witness. If more information comes out, we’ll see whether my status changes to a victim. That might happen in the future."

Do you regret the money you donated?

"No, I don’t regret it."

Do you have any message for other celebrities who donated?

"I want everyone who donated to come forward and give statements to the police. Anyone who thinks they are a victim should also contact the police."

After this incident, will it affect your willingness to donate to others?

"No, I still donate. As I said, my work provides me income partly from the public. So when they are in need, I want to help even if in a small way. I’m not someone who goes to the field directly, but I have small means to assist, and I’m glad to do so. I just need to be more careful in verifying things."

Are you sad that someone didn’t tell you the truth?

"I want answers more than feeling sad right now. I want to know what really happened."

Do you think today’s feelings will affect your trust going forward?

"I really can’t say, but my perspective has definitely changed."

Meaning the feeling when you first came in and when you left was very different?

"(Shakes head) It was like everything turned upside down. That’s my feeling. The vibe changed completely from when I came in to when I came out."

People credit you as a big figure or mafia who shouldn’t be a victim. How do you feel about that?

"I think this matter affects everyone equally. Like I said, it’s unavoidable. We trusted. Will this change my view about helping or donating? I will still help. But it is really unavoidable. It can’t be avoided. If I’m one of those, I’m just one of 1,800,000 accounts that transferred money."

From donor to victim now?

"I prefer not to answer. That’s all."

When do you think your mindset will improve? Five days? Seven days?

"I don’t know, can’t say. Let’s wait for the police. I can’t say more. Thank you."
