Tak Siriporn and Nui Chernyim Share Their Regret Over Donating 80,000 Baht to Boom Panadda Amid Donation Misuse Controversy (Video)

After beauty queen and TV host Boom Panadda Wongpudi faced controversy over donations to the Foundation for Good Deeds which she chairs, accused of personal misuse violating the donation's purpose, sparking a major case under public scrutiny.

Recently, the Facebook page 'Lawyer Relieves Suffering' run by lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanan posted a clip featuring the couple Tak Siriporn and Nui Chernyim recounting when they donated over 80,000 baht to Boom's foundation. After seeing the donation scandal, they expressed deep regret, never expecting this to happen, especially as Tak is close to Boom.

In the clip, Tak Siriporn said, “The first time was 50,000 baht. I transferred it to help flood victims in Hat Yai in November last year. Then another 20,000 baht when Boom posted asking who would help build restrooms. I donated 20,000 to help build restrooms with her and about 10,000 more to assist injured people and the disabled or something like that. Altogether, it totaled about 80,000 baht.”

Nui Chernyim added, “We donated without knowing the details, but making merit is merit.” Tak continued, “We didn't know it would turn out like this. It's sad because I'm close to her.” Nui said, “Everyone trusted her.”

Tak went on, “I'm very close to Boom. Imagine, I met her at Workpoint; she looked thin. I thought, ‘Is she a weight-loss presenter or something?’ Then a few days later, this scandal blew up. I thought she must be stressed, not eating or sleeping.”

“That's how it happened. I'm very sad. I never expected her to do this. We were so close. We worked together for years in the past. It's truly disappointing,” she said.
