In the early morning of 6 Nov 2026 at 06:30, officers from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) along with the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) arrived at the home of Boom Panadda Wongpudi, the beauty queen and TV host, in a housing estate near Nawamin Road, Khlong Kum subdistrict, Bueng Kum district, Bangkok, to execute a search and detain her before taking her to the Pitak Santi building at the Central Investigation Bureau.
After officers read the search and arrest warrants to Boom in front of her home, she showed a calm expression. Officials then proceeded to search the house as per the warrants. During the search, Boom smiled at the cameras.
Most recently, at approximately 11:08, Boom Panadda, accompanied by lawyer Phet Eksit Srisang, arrived at the Pitak Santi building at the Central Investigation Bureau to surrender at the complaint center of the Economic Crime Suppression Division. Boom appeared weary in both face and eyes.
As Boom walked inside, reporters asked how she prepared herself. She replied she was willing to enter the justice process. When asked about the events leading to today’s situation, she declined to answer, instead repeatedly raising her hands in a wai gesture and saying, "Sorry to everyone, truly sorry," before entering the interrogation room with her lawyer and officials.
Regarding the case progress, police are currently questioning the suspect in accordance with legal procedures. There are no plans to hold a press conference today. Authorities expect to officially disclose case details tomorrow morning (7 Nov) before seeking court approval to detain her as part of the justice process.
