After the beauty queen and TV host Bum Panadda Wongpudi and Got Athip Anantawan her husband were detained at Pitak Santi Building at the Central Investigation Police Headquarters (CIB) for questioning in the charity donation case involving the Good Deeds Foundation on the morning of 6 Nov 2026, and remained under police supervision throughout the night.
On 7 Nov 2026, the Central Investigation Police prepared to bring Bum Panadda and Got Athip before the Criminal Court for their first detention hearing, while filing a motion opposing bail for both due to the high penalties involved and ongoing investigations into financial transactions.
At 09:51, Got Athip exited the building wearing black shirt and pants, smiling at the media gathered. When reporters asked if he wanted to say anything about Bum or if he feared not getting bail, Got Athip did not respond and got into a vehicle with officers.
At 09:56, Bum Panadda came out wearing a beige long-sleeve shirt and black pants, with a neutral expression. She greeted the media with a wai and said, "I admit all the mistakes I have made. I apologize again to everyone for the disappointment. I have told the police all the facts, and now I ask that the justice process proceed accordingly."
When asked if she denied the charges, Bum replied, "I will let my lawyer answer that from now on. Thank you." She then left while wai-ing in thanks. Shortly after, she staggered a little due to crowding, and officers cleared the way for her to get into the vehicle.
