The series "Rak" officially launched in a warm setting at Major Cineplex Sukhumvit (Ekkamai), presented by Screenshot Co., Ltd., with producer-director Chutapha Chanthaket and producer Kong-Piya Sewatpikool. Leading the story are skilled actors Film Thanapat Kawila and Bua Nalinthip Sakulongumpai, portraying a heartfelt love and bond for the first time. The cast also includes Pond Phonwit Ketprapakorn, Boss Chaikamol Sermsongwithaya, Karisa Springett, Nia Magila, and Candy Supapatsorn Phoncharoenrat, completing the full spectrum of love's dimensions.
At the event, besides the actors sharing their feelings about being part of the project and the intense behind-the-scenes work, producers Chutapha and Kong-Piya opened up about the series’ origins and their intention to create a work that touches the hearts of viewers of all ages.
Film revealed, “This is my first time working outside my usual environment, meeting new actors I’ve never worked with before, including P’Chutapha and P’Kong. I’m very happy and excited. Everyone, from front to back of the crew, is very dedicated. I believe ‘Rak’ will show us one facet of love through a single event—love not only between lovers but also among family, parents, siblings, and friends. I hope viewers will follow along.”
Bua added, “The series begins with youthful romantic love from high school, where the couple loves each other deeply but must part ways, only to reunite later. It’s a story of love and sacrifice that I think will touch viewers, as everyone will relate to one of the characters and see different perspectives. I believe everyone will smile, laugh, and cry together. It starts on 6 August.”
