7 Dos and Donts for Worshiping Phra Sivali to Fully Receive Blessings

Discover the secrets to effectively worshiping Phra Sivali to gain good fortune and abundance, as Phra Sivali is the arahant of luck and prosperity. Many people favor worshiping Phra Sivali when opening a shop or doing business to attract good luck, wealth, and smooth success in all matters. However, there are important do's and don'ts in worshiping Phra Sivali that we need to know.

1. Do not use black incense sticks under any circumstances because Phra Sivali is an arahant, not a deity or sacred spirit typically worshiped with black incense (which is often used in certain sacred rituals).

2. Avoid worshiping without proper practice. Phra Sivali does not cling to material items; thus, offering items alone without doing good deeds or working with intention will limit the effectiveness of your prayers.

3. Do not worship with an unsettled mind or lack of faith. Chanting mantras or making wishes should be done with calm, focused concentration and genuine faith, without distraction.
4. When offering food or consumable goods, ensure they are fresh and new.

5. After the ceremony, the food can be given to animals or discarded (do not consume it yourself).

6. Throughout the day of worship, strive to speak kindly, act well, and maintain positive thoughts, as this helps enhance your merit.

7. Continue the worship for 3 to 7 consecutive days or regularly on Buddhist holy days.

However, this is a personal belief and should be grounded in reality without superstition or causing undue hardship to yourself. If you cause yourself difficulty, it is not considered merit.
